How ugly is it going to get before guns are the only alternative..

I have to admit, I am totally burning with fury and anger over the anti 2nd ammendment Socialist movement in this great Country of ours. I am NOT going to lie to my self anymore and say to myself, " We can still win this battle through phone calls to our Polititions and e-mails. or letting our voices be heard on talk radio and writing letters to the Editors and of course, voting for the appropiate person at election time". I feel that facts are no longer a deciding factor in the gun debate and reason has no validation or power to persuade the opposition. I always thought truth and reason could stand up to feelings and emotion, I am beginning to believe America is not America if the constitution is no longer validated in deciding gun legistlation. If truth can't prevail, then tyranny is right around the corner. Government is out of controll and the only checks and balances left at our disposal is implementing what the 2nd ammendment was put in place for and that is to bear up arms and fight. I don't think the time to act is now, but sooner or later we will have no other alternative if we are truely Constitutionalist and believe in FREEDOM. The right to bear arms is a God given right so only God can take away that right, NOT the Government. So it seems to me that the Government thinks its God. I have no problem dieing for freedom but I will not be a subject of the Government. If other people want to be spineless subjects of tyranny than they will get what they deserve. Just look at history and Countries like Nazi Germany and Communist China, Russia and Cambodia. Millions of sadistic murder and oppression. There is still hope but if things keep going the same way they have been, then in 5 to 10 years it will be to late. I guess you could call me a Radical but tyranny is much more radical than liberty. I can't believe the times we are living in. liberty can't prevail against a Society that is dumbed down and controlled by a leftist Media and is schooled by leftist institutions and Men are feminised wimps who can't even rise up to the responsibility of passing down the values of liberty to there own Children. Are Government is attacking the last thing standing in the way of there tyranny, and that is our ability to be armed and have the ability to oppose that tyranny. I wish I was just a crazed Radical Rebell with out a cause. Its obvious that "they" want our guns, and they won't stop untill they get them, and then they will want your liberty. God help us.

It's gettin' hot all right.

Posting this type of stuff publicly will probably get you on someone's list. You may want to watch it.

John,

Well, yes indeed, outrage and indignation are the only appropriate responses to what's been happening since our country was hijacked back in '92.

Basically, there are four things which are true:

1) Our enemies are sick, twisted sadists in the clinical sense of the term.

2) They are trying to drive everyone insane.

3) If you fit in, you need serious psychotherapy because..

4) The lunatics have taken over the asylum.

John, read this. I think you'll appreciate it.

Awhile back I posted a piece about "Why we lost the culture war". That link is below:

And John... We all know how ugly it's going to get. We ain't seen NOTHIN' yet. I think we're probably only 1 or 2 Demo Presidents/congresses away from the fight. I get the shakes when I think about it. Jimpeel said it best:

It all boils down to the number of people willing to die for our rights versus the number the government is willing to kill to take them.

(I wish I had his verbal skills!)

I am curious about what kind of guns the smugglers will be bringing in when legal gun buying is no more. Sub-machine guns with integral suppressers? Maybe some shoulder-fired anti-aircraft launchers so the bad guys can pick off those pesky helicopters. As I recall, Wan Jun brought in both at Long Beach harbor.

We've lost some ground, but we've gained some too. I think that the majority of the population thinks that Clinton is a liar and an opportunist. Not much rank and file anger amoung the people over Wayne LaPierre's remarks. Most people are glad someone is finally calling it like it is.

Our problem is one of apathy. Most Americans just don't care about an issue, any issue until it directly impacts their lives.

But don't underestimate the American people once they are energized. Right now the politicians in both parties are trying to curry favor with the mainstream media. How quickly they've forgotten the lesson of 1994. Who saw the mainstream media bash nationalized health care? I didn't, but the health care plan was soundly defeated in a Democratic Congress. Who beat it, the truth beat it. Enough people managed to hear the truth about the proposals and Clinton couldn't even get his own party to pass it.

Now lets look at 2000 compared to 1994. In 1994 the Reagan economic program was just starting to reverberate through the economy. Things were starting to get a little better, but many people were concerned about if they would have a job, next week or next year. In 2000 Clintonomics is just starting to take hold. Interest rates have been climbing the stock market is slowing somewhat and suddenly we are faced with the highest gasoline prices in decades. By midsummer the sheeple will have lived with cancelled or shortened vacations, and higher prices on everything as higher energy costs are passed on to the consumer. Guess who will be there to take the heat for this? That's right, the current administration. A healthy anti government backlash will occur throughout the population. Any proposals to increase the power of the government will be as popular as health care was. Plus the politicians will remember what happened in the '94 elections as a result in part to the Brady Bill and the Assault Weapons ban.

The sleeping giant is about to be awakened, the economy alarm clock is starting to wring and it's a presidential election year. And the mainstream media is losing it's starnglehold on public opinion making. Places like TFL on the internet are giving more and more people access to differing opinions. I'm actually a little optimistic right now. We have a great opportunity to regain some ground here. Without violence.

Will we ever return to a concerned involved population? I doubt it, there are too many other distractions. Face it government at the national level is almost irrelevant unless there is a crisis of some kind, and the sheeple will pretty much ignore anything that doesn't directly affect them. but they are being awakened.

Don't give up hope! All we need is a pro-Second Amendment Supreme Court when Emerson and the case in California reach it. That is why it is critical that anybody but Gore be elected! I will vote for Bush! Even though he is not perfect, he is not actively working for the other side. That IS a big difference.

Think long and hard before you vote for a third party candidate who has no chance of winning. Under normal circumstances, I may vote Libertarian, but not this time. Things are differnt now, there is too much at stake!

Do you want Gore nominating the next three or four Supreme Court justices? Heck no!

ANYBODY BUT GORE!!!

I wish I could be as optimistic as Jeff is.Brain dead populace will see nothing wrong with trigger locks, waiting periods, closing loopholes in Gun shows, banning Hi-Cap magazines and Assault Rifles. After all...this is reasonable to most people. You all have heard it before..."Why would anyone want to own an AK-47?" "Who needs an Assault Rifle?" They have absolutely no idea that the 2nd Ammendment AIN"T about hunting.I am so Bummed!!! :( :(

Mr.X: I agree with you. It really ticks me off when people don't understand that all the weapons that are being banned, are the exact weapons that are the most useful for defending ourselfs in a confrontation with a hostile Government. In other words, AK-47s and H&K full autos, and 308 cal. high capacity rifles are the best guns for militia battles. I would not want to fight 30 Traitors with a 5 rd mag and a AR-15.In fact, the way things are going, it won't be long before all we have left to defend our constitution is a single shot rifle. Then the Government will have us right where they want us... Weak and unable to defend ourselfs. I want a good M14 with about ten, 20 to 30 rd reliable mags, filled with the best ammo available. I want night sighting optics, heat seaking optics and laser technology to boot. I think every person should have the RIGHT to possess this equipment at a reasonable price with NO questions asked.I would also suggest a good gas mask and bio suit, and some good bullet proof vests and helmets. Quite frankly I don't give a dam if "they" take your Duck gun...... actually I like hunting, but I'd rather protect our freedom FIRST, and then enjoy hunting.

John 232..I have a couple of guys at work who think that we should only be able to own single shot firearms to help keep the canage down. When I bring up the subject of the 2nd ammendment...they call me a gun nut.Nothing new there...everywhere I have worked, some people have actually blamed me for some of the earlier "massacres"(Luby's..SanYsidro Mc donalds)cause they knew I was NRA...IPSC.I tell ya...sometimes I could spit bullets!!

Dennis: Remember Patton's most famous speach, the one he gave in front of that huge flag in the movie? "Dying for our rights" does nothing but reduce our numbers; If it came to a fight, our objective would be to see to it that THEY died for their attempt to take them away! (See below)

Sic semper tyrannis!

We have become a nation of victims, the news
media and the extreme left prefer someone
innocent dies rather then defend themselves,
why, I can't explain it, perhaps it makes
good news. This problem has been growing since
the sixties, our goverment schools have produced a entire generation of people without common sense. The trend of putting kids in day care from the time they are born,
mothers who work all week drive their children around on the weekend to all sorts
of events rather then talk with them. Yes,we
are losing the cultural war, big time, and we
will and are paying for it.Stop and think if
they can pass a law that bans an object like
a metal clip then any law is possible,we are
looking at total loss of freedom in the very
near future. If we ever regain this country it
will take a life style change, return to family, home schooling, church, one bread winner in the family(boy does this goverment
not want that, less taxes)I'm sorry this subject really upsets me,as a person nearing
60 I have seen this country go down hill in so many ways,I feel sad for the kids and what
they have facing them unless we can turn this around.!!!!Freedom ain't cheap or easy.!

Jeff, what you're saying is true and was encapsulated in a column (forget the author) in the NY Times about Greenspan and Gore.
Gore's campaign is heavily dependent upon a good stock market and economy. If Greenspan raises rates another point or two, which could happen with rising commodity prices, Gore's going to be hurt.

At the same time, though, the anti's are not going to go away. If they keep pushing, something's going to happen. I don't know how, or who or where, but somebody's going to start shooting. Will they be organized, or will it be individuals? Who will be the targets? It's a very scary scenario, and one I pray doesn't have to be played out.

That boiling you feel in your veins is not anger my friends, its patriotism, its passion, its love of freedom.

There is not a better plan to return America to its glory, than what is outlined in the following books...start with: "Unintended Consequences", by John Ross. This will parallel the RKBA/freedom issues with a wonderful story. Then, after you've finished that, read: "The Creature from Jekyll Island", by Griffin (both available @ www.amazon.com . This is a frightening non-fiction on the fraud we know as the Federal Reserve, and exposes how the power elitist bankers (leftists) are the ones behind the New World Order.

We cannot regain our freedom unless we abolish the Federal Reserve (an instrument of totalitariansim), the topic in "Creature". The chaos we face, when the Fed is abolished will equate to locking a junkie in a china shop with no dope. A house of cards has been built out of "fiat money" (money with no intrinsic value, backed with nothing), and when that system is abolished, all hell will break loose. You think the leftists are bold now? Wait til you take their dope (the money machine) away from them. We WILL need our arms during that process without a doubt, maybe even attach bayonets.

The key is, understanding what we are up against, and to know what extent "they" will go to in order to retain their grasp on the yokes of our enslavement. Knowledge is power. Get some for yourself! Channel your passion for freedom into knowledge of our enemies. Exposing them will be much more fun than seeing them hang.

Send in the Waco Killers by Vin Suprynowicz is another all time great. It does not deal with Waco persay, but that is mentioned. Rather it deals with the totality of the tyranny we now face.

"As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression.
In both instances there is a twilight when everything remains
seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all
must be most aware of change in the air - however slight -
lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness."

The beauty of the second Amendment is that it is not needed until they try to take it. T JEFFERSON

Do you really think that we want those laws to be observed? We want them broken. We're after power and we mean it. There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breakings laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced nor objectively interpreted-and you create a nation of law breakers--and then you cash in on guilt.
