How to obtain a C&R license?

No, not "extremely lenient", just closer to actually following the 2nd Amendment than other places.

Alaska is also one of two states with the least infringement on bearing arms. It, and Vermont, explicitly allow carrying by any non-felon--no permit, fee, tax, or other form of government permission required to exercise your rights.
 
My dream is to move to Oregon in a few years... Then one day, maybe Alaska.

Alaska, huh? Move from one state that says you have NO reason whatsoever to own a gun to a state that says, "you want to own a gun?...better be a big one.." Heh! :D

I myself am a fan of the northwest, but best of luck getting your hands on that CZ. Luckily for me (in Colorado) I hardly have a use for a C&R.
