How stupid are people in Missouri. . . .see here...

Well, it's official. We have stupid people in Missouri. It looks as though Ashcroft lost to the cadaver, and the anti-gun/pro-abortion Holden won over Talent. This is truely a black day for Missouri. I am NOT happy today. Missouri, get ready for NICS background checks for ALL purchases at gun shows. Get ready for Kalifornia style "assault weapons" registrations. Get ready for more death at the hands of abortion doctors. Evil has won out in this state. Did I mention that I'm not happy?

They have elected the worst POS scum across the board nearly everywhere in the USSA. I hope they all rot in hell.

I've said it before on MO gunowners who didn't vote for Prop B:

MO gunowners who didn't vote (or voted for the Demoncrats)

ARE THE STUPIDEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD!!!

My heart goes out to all the gunowners who worked their tail off in MO and all the other bellwether and battleground states. Listening to the networks last night, they're saying that guns didn't matter nor made a difference. From the way the vote went, I find it hard to disagree with them.

Apparently there are a lot of gunowners who don't have the brains God gave a green apple!

We did pretty good up here in AK. The hemp initiative diidn't pass, but that was kinda at the back of my mind. We got all of our good house and senate workers I wanted. I just hope that that bush wins the recount. From the looks of the news it's awful close.

Look, let's be a little more cynical here, shall we? They defeated Prop. B by stuffing ballot boxes in St. Louis county, and I'm assuming, until I see sane turnout numbers from those precincts, that they stole this election, too.

But there's a big difference; After the Proposal B fight, Carnahan prevented a court challenge by refusing to either certify OR decertify the election results. That only worked because they were trying to block the proposal from becoming law. They can't do that in this case, because it would get in the way of THEIR winners taking office.

Within 30 days they are going to HAVE to certify the election results, and at that point they can be challenged. And THIS time we'll have an incoming Republican administration whose Justice department will be very interested in ballot fraud committed by Democrats. So check out what happened in St. Louis county very carefully, this thing may still be won.

Agreed, Brett.
No one should take the results in Missouri at face value. No one knows at this point how much fraud occured and how it affects the various candidates.
One thing is certain, the fraud did not work to the Republican's advantage.

Thank you Brett. You saved me some typing. Prop. B was lost due to blatant ballow fraud and a low life criminal of a governor.

As far as yesterday's vote here in MO. There are several threads going on here and in L&P about it as well as on the news.
We lost our senate seat and governorship due to ballot fraud in St. Louis County again. A liberal, appointed, municiple judge there ordered the polls left open until 10:00PM. The law says 7:00PM. As of 7:00 we had a sizable margin and had won both seats. A three judge appealant panel ordered the polls closed immediately shortly after 8:00PM In that hour the extra people that voted in STC were enough to loss our governor and elect the dead POS to the senate. His wife will fill the seat and become a puppet to the democrats.

So do not blame gun owners for not voting or supporting pro-gun/constitution candidates. We got out and voted. Many of us worked our butts off campaigning and getting people to the polls. We always do. But regardless of what we do the low life scum that run the elections in this state screw us and the American people.
The other 49 states ought to throw us out of the union until we can round up the bastards and publically hang them.

Yes, this issue hits very close to home for me and I am growing tired of fighting to get people elected and then hear gun owners blamed for the corrupt bastards in St. Louis County.

I was promised a Shortycicle and I want a Shortycicle!

Here's how it works - the rest of the state calls the vote in. Then, in close issues, they look at St. Louis, and figure out how many votes they need to have it go their way...

Yep! Once again, Missouri is screwed by voter fraud. I hope something will be done about it, but I don't see what could be done. :(

Well, then get someone of our people to infiltrate their system, get some evidence, and nail the bastards!

Lemmmeee see if I get this right....

You'all(sp) elected a dead guy ??

and they allegedly "stuffed" the ballot box to elect this dead guy ??

Sounds like our Prime Minister, except he just refuses to lie down and stay in the box....

"How stupid are the people in Missouri?"

Pretty stupid if ya ask me....heck, if they are gonna elect dead people why not proven winners like Abe Lincoln, or at least Harry Truman? But, Carnahan????!!!! :)

This just in. Missouri will no longer be considered the "Show Me State".

Missouri's new motto will now be the "Cadaver State"!

Hey Orion, your state might have actually had a good idea after all, a dead politician can't possibly cause as much trouble as a living one.

How stupid are the people in Missouri? Not as stupid as their now ex senator, who in typical craven Republican fashion has stated that he's not going to challenge the legitimacy of the election, and urges that nobody else challenge it either. Stolen fair and square, I guess he figures.

Ashcroft can't win at this one - If he challenges it, he'll get HAMMERED at the polls at the next election (two years away for this seat). His best strategy is to siddown and shuddup, and then run on his record vs. her's in two years. He'll be back in then.

Well, now I'm even madder than I was before if that is possible.

Ashcroft was just on the news and stated he would not challenge the election nor would he participate if someone else challenged it. Because of that the MO GOP has said they will back off and not fight it.
As Bogie said, it would hurt Ashcroft to challenge. But what he and others, including the state GOP it would seem, have over looked it that it was not just Ashcroft that got screwed on this deal. Jim Talent was also leading and had won when they "extended" the polling hours.
If Ashcroft does not want to offend the poor widow Carnahan fine. But Talent and the voters got screwed to. I'll be on the phone to Ashcrofts office in the morning!

Missouri; Home to ballot fraud and dead senators. We're so proud.

I jsut heard on the news that Talent willnot contest the election results either.
So I guess Republicans can never win a close election here ever again.

Or a fair one.
I guess Ashcroft nor Talent care about the people in the state either. We are the ones that will suffer as a result of this.
