If you want to hit anything and/or be taken seriously, you do.
I had the bright idea of firing a 3" mag 2 oz. turkey load in a model 94 Stevens single barrel.
No I wasn't drinking a beer, not while handling firearms, but when I lit that bad boy off, the recoil was so vicious that my thumb knuckle on my hand hit me hard enough in the cheek to make it look like i was in a bar fight.
Wasn't the brightest thing I've ever done....

Thats not the proper way to shoot a shotgun. No wonder my face hurts and I keep getting weird looks at the trap range. In all seriousness that guy is a complete idiot and you would not catch me shooting with him.

We were young, and dumb, and he was dumber than I was. He loaded it with some slugs, walked up to a steel dumpster, and touched one off, and the slug happen to hit just right, and bounced back into his nads! He had some real problems with that injury, and his girlfriend wasn't too happy either. He was lucky that he still had the "family jewels"....
