Yeah Frank, I keep looking for follow-ups to this story as well, but nothing is showing up in the press. Supposedly the case was going to the grand jury (one news article said) and others just had the police "investigating" the matter, though the woman had been contacted.

Wow, yeah - that's not right at all.

Remember the basic elements:
-IMMINENT
-Threat
-Putting one in both actual subjective fear of, and
-Objectively reasonable fear of,
-Serious bodily harm or death

got to meet all five.

She was missing the first, second, fourth, and fifth one, and possibly the 3rd one, too.

Yea that wasn't to smart. As much as I would like to see scum like that no exist (the robber) the gun was pointed at inoecent people she could of easily accidentally pulled the trigger and hurt or killed someone other then the robber. My weapon would be holstered untill the bad guy pulled a weapon out. If she really wanted to help she could of ran up and helped the 2 guys wrestling with the robber right before he ran across the road.which in turn shots would not of been fired so dangerously.

As Double Naught Spy now informs us in this thread:

In the previous thread, http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=569553 , the would be heroine was shown to have acted in a poor manner regardling her handling of a pistol around other Good Sams and a purse snatching suspect, and then shooting at the suspect when he broke free. Now she has been indicted for the shooting.
