How much time do you spend on TFL & are you addicted?

Well let's see I'm a graduate student so I ussually start the morning by checking my e-mail then I browse through "handguns" "legal & political" and "general discussion". I then minimize the window, run experiments, do lab work, etc. Ussually I check again around lunch and depending on how much computer work I do, I check it on and off all day. So, I could go home earlier, but if I'm in the lab, my wife at least "thinks" I'm doing something usefull all the time. I haven't been on from home in at least 6 months. I also go into the lab on weekends getting my TFL "fix" that way. This is by far the best firearms discussion forum I've found. I don't know what I'm going to do when I get a real job! :D

The first step is registration, the second step is confiscation, the final step is subjugation.

I spend most of my surfing time on TFL. I don't go much anywhere else. I enjoy the time so I don't think I spend enough time in here.

I am addicted. I spend on and off about 3 hrs a night here.
I browse various other family and non family sites, too.

But mostly here. And even sometimes at work I check in here.
I also frequent TAC.

Absolutely an addiction. Most boards I hit once a week or so, but I have to have at least one (usually more) TFL fix per day. Daily total 1-3 hrs.

Given that none of my close friends or family are interested in firearms/RKBA, I spend a ****load of time here. This has been my outlet and classroom for all things gun-related. Can't say how many hours per day/week, but my wife always wants to know when I'm getting off the computer.

"It's 2am in the morning. How much longer are you going to be working?"<UL TYPE=SQUARE><LI> "Just a little bit longer. I have to have this finished by tomorrow morning."
<LI> "Just a little bit longer. I've got a production problem I gotta fix."
<LI> "Just a little bit longer. I finally figured out how to get around this problem."
<LI> Etc.</UL>

Although I do admit to being a TFL addict, I have a comparatively small monkee on my back. Ballpark figure of 8 to 10 hours a week here, but that's probably 85-90% of my total online time. The really bad thing is when I was at the EOSM, I was wondering what was going on at TFL, even though I was surrounded by TFL members.

Work hours for me are from 6am-12pm.. so I'm game for any time inbetween that...

But I tend to hang out post/read between 7am-11pm.. so I'm in for at least a good 3hrs each morning! And unlike the rest of ya'll, I can admit it.. I can't stop! I need theropy!

LOL Eric

Hell, Slinger is the truest of addicts. He was surrounded by TFL members yet he still logged on the computer. hehehe

1. Too Much
2. Yes
2-3 hours /a day. I work a little, browse a little. Some days not at all, but when the weather's crappy, chores are done, etc. i surf a lot, here and elsewhere.

Yes, I am an addict--I admit it!! I blame, my husband, Darryl Howland and Jeff OMTG. At the last Indy1500 they all stood around and yakked about TFL and AR.15 and the like and I had to see what it was they were talking about!!

The worst part about my addiction is that I will log on and tell myself that I am only going to spend 15 or so minutes...yeah, right, those 15 minutes turn into 30 at a minimum...... :D
