How much do you shoot per range trip?

No, I shoot more, I have more time as I get closer to retirement. Grandkids are a lot less expensive than raising our own kids ...and I don't drink and raise hell as much ....shooting is almost my only vice ( and buying guns ....).

Hate The Cleanup

Not really, but one or two guns is enough for me, as I'm a clean freak
and they always get cleaned even after 150 rounds or so.
PLUS, the old Arthritic right shoulder starts to ache, when I'm blasting away too long with the larger calibers. HEY, someone said these are the GOLDEN YEARS, what a bunch of crap that was.:D
Regards,
SN

200 to 400 per trip for me. Depends on what I am shooting, but the norm would be 200 .40s, and 100 Magnums (either .357 or .44) and I usually round it out with 100 .22s in the old Mk1 standard. And yes, I do reload.

Weekly range visit. 160 rounds of .22 in S&W 317 and then 50 rounds in carry gun (642 or 640). Up close drills (<15 yards) mostly shooting at 10-21 feet range.

Every few months. That is if the range hasn't gone out of business. I usually shoot 200 - 400 rounds of various. A few times, I've driven the 20+ miles, shot 25 rounds in 10 minutes, then left.

I go once or twice a month if the weather is nice, I do not care for indoor ranges. Use 200 to 300 hundred rounds (reloads) 45ACP, 357, 44MAG, 380, 444 MARLIN.223/5.56MM,12GA,7.62X39I will take three or four firearms each trip. 22LR will burn up 100-150 rounds.
Have a Lee single stage press I picked up 12 years ago. I need to break down and get Dillon progressive some day.

I shoot my handloads 95% of the time. When I by a auto pistol I'll put 50 ronds of factory ammo through it first.

When going to the range I always take a .22 with me. I'll start out with the .22 for 50 - 100 rounds. switch to my centerfire of choice for 100 - 200 rounds (depending on how I feel) then wind down with the .22 again before leaving.

I try to shoot every day. Differant guns, but I always finish my shooting sessions with my 642. I try to go through at least 200 rounds a week with my 642 (carry pistol).

But you have to take in account I have a 300 yard range in my back yard.

Per range trip, I typically shoot 200 rounds through my 1911 and about 200-300 through my 9mm. I will always shoot 400-500 per trip, even if/when new guns are added to my collection.

Nice.

Now all you need is a bullet mold or two, a lube sizing machine, and a great big lead pot.:D

Range trips may be 3 in a week or one in 3 weeks. I take a 22 and a brick of ammo. I also take a 45 wheel gun 200 rounds. If I take any other firearm, I also take 100 rounds for it.

I probably average 3 times a month and 125 to 200 rounds per session (basically, I go to the range once per week unless I'm on vacation or have some kind of commitment). I handload all my centerfire calibers (.380, 9x19, 38 Spl, 357 Magnum, 30-30 Win) and also shoot some .22LR and .22 Magnum. I have about a dozen handguns (revolvers and semi-autos) a lever-action carbine and a single-shot rifle, but usually concentrate on 2 or 3 of them for a few months at a time. If I shoot the .30-30, I might only take 20 shots at the range.

It may not sound like a lot of shooting, but I'm pretty meticulous. I'm always working on my technique or working up a handload.

I just picked up a Dillon Square Deal progressive so that should DRASTICALLY increase my ammo production over my Lee single stage.

I love my Beretta Neos .22, but there's no comparison to shooting centerfire.

Why is shooting centerfire so much more fun than rimfire .22's?

Sturmgewehre - That is a motivating room my garage looks like that :)
I Shoot about 500 round of 40 s&w, 600-1000 rounds of 5.56mm, 100 12G , and 20 7.5X55 Swiss per range when I go to the one outside its about an hour away so I make it worth IT ! I LOve to shoot I'm a Marine. If im indoors about 300-500 40s&w .
