Depending on how repressive it gets, I might be running and hiding, BUT I'M NOT LEAVING! To answer a rhetorical question; Yes there is something in my life worth losing everything (including my life) for: My freedom, my families freedom,your freedom, all of our "unalienable rights". Many have gone before me, I'd be in hallowed company. I'm sure from following TFL posts that there are many more of you of the same opinion.
 
Ive heard some say with the right scope the

I like the gusto I see here; however, how many of you would give 20hrs of volunteer time to a candidate in order to NOT have to start shooting??!!

How many don't have a yard sign? How many aren't working a phone bank? If people don't have the stomach do that, I'm not so sure folks will have the stomach to do something stronger.

I'm upto about 12 hrs (not including tonight) for Carla Howell. I expect to volunteer for 25-30 hrs by the time the election occurs.

You happen to want to own guns? You have a degree in engineering or
CS? Come down here. Knowledge of French and German is ultimately
useful, but not mandatory to get a Swiss work permit. Although, to get
Swiss citizenship, you need perfect knowledge of at least one official
language.

Also, we have pretty good RKBA laws. And if we can get some folks who,
one day, will turn the socialist tide back and send that red rubbish
to where it came from, it won't hurt us either.

Within five hours of where I am sitting, there are at least twelve mountain ranges and high country that my family could get lost in. The closest is exactly 45 minutes away. Pleanty of game and fishing spots. Would I run? Hell, no. This is my home. I will get in with the first resistance cell that will have me, or I will start my own.

For now, I am politically active. I prefer to vote with a ballot than with a rifle.

God forbid that anything like this should happen.

One more thing. Just remember that during WW2, a handful of Polish Jews held off and entire SS regiment with about a dozen hunting rifles and a couple of handguns at the seige of the Warsaw Ghetto.

Can big government armies of today be held back by the people? Ask the Afgani Freedom Fighters. Ask the VC. Yes, it can. The first target in a civil war should be those who turned on the people and ordered the prosecution of the war. Get your scopes and pick your targets.

Well, I've posted that less than 2% of gun owners will rebel...look at Britain, Canada and Australia. Yes, they are different but they are the same. If the gubmnt goes nuts they won't roll down the streets in tanks and crap...it'll be one door at a time...it'll be midnite rainds on 'drug dealers, loonies, child porners...' whatever they can use to make the person they take out look like a demon in human skin.

Me? just depends...I might go join one of the NA nations I've been 'brothered' to.

I might go back to the woods or a park and sit in a tree.

maybe to the caves...the desert or plains...maybe the mountains...

All I can say is I like to hunt and frankly, with diabetes, I'm tied to civilisation...no desert isle for me. I'll die..but not be lonely.

The would very unlikely go door to confiscating weapons but here and their a few in this state and a few and that already have and will respond to domestic dispute calls of an abusive husband waving a hunting rifle or what have you around.
And hell for their own protection their send in the swat team.
And when its all said and done and the poor fellow and his wife are very dead oh
surprise surprise they were both NRA/GOA
member better watch out for those folks maybe we should start keeping better track of them....

Don't for a minute give up on our kids. My stepson Matthew knows about Lexington, Concord and the importance of focusing on the front sight.

The Feds know who I am & where I am. Probably always will. Had a job that did that to me.

Likewise they know I am far more dangerous WITHOUT a gun than with one.
