How many of you people are standing up for your rights as a gun owner? How many of you would like to see them get taken away like in Canada or England? First, how many of you are in the NRA and for how long. Second, how many of you think a measly $35 a year is too much to keep your right to own a gun in this country? You know if they ever take guns away from everyday law abiding civilians, guess who will be the only people with guns? The LAW and CRIMINALS! I never want to see that happen. Take away our guns and we have to become criminals to get one to protect our families, friends and selfs! Thats not what "freedom" is all about!

I'm a life member now. Thinking about the new upgrade I was offered for $150. I've been a member since the 70s and was a junior member before that.

i've been a member for about 2 years and think that everyone that owns a gun and wants to keep it should join. jf

I just renewed my membership...The NRA is , by far, the best thing going for us gun owners.

I do wish they would stop the constant bombardment of pleas, solicitations, and Publishers Clearing House type gimmickry, but what the hell.

They are the best thing going for us..join today!

I have been a member since the 70's. Just reupped for 2 years. And I to feel the mailing bombardment money could be better spent. Also I'm taking a look at the Second Amendment Rights Assoc. That maybe a worthwhile group to join and support.

member of NRA for past 3 years after leaving them for about 7years. Back for the obvious reasons. Also a member of Gun Oners of America(GOA)- a national lobby, Larry Pratt is taking on congress and anyone up for a debate. Also a member of Gun Owners Action League(GOAL) in the marvelous state of Taxachusetts home of the Kennedy clan and other liberals. The fight will get tougher and we need to put up or shut-up when the gov

I have been a member for 6 or 7 years but I am thinking about joining the GOA instead. I think that fund raising (for their own agenda)is the # 1 priority for the NRA and their ethics are extremely questionable. For example: I have always resented the constant mailings warning me of my expiring membership (usually within a month or two after renewing). They may be our best ally now but I don't care to be manipulated by anyone. BUT.....Join something(NRA,GOA,etc)
Or we lose.

I'm in the first year of a three-year membership, and I'll probably become a life member after that. I signed up right after those little punk bastards pulled the Columbine massacre because I knew the backlash against guns it would cause. A few years back, I let my membership lapse, but I'll never do that again until they put me in the ground.
