My first of 2 MP Molds arrived the other day. This one fills a need that only you guys with early Smith and Wesson Model 25's can understand. I recently bought a Model 25-2 in .45 ACP that was made in 1975. I came in the Mahogany Presentation case, and by all appearances is unfired. Like almost all of these .45's, it has large throats (.455 - .456"). So, if you want to use lead bullets, you need them to be larger than the normal .452" to fit the throats if you don't want leading to occur. I ordered Miha's version of the H&G #68 and special ordered it to cast a .455" bullet. My first casting session showed the bullets dropping from the mould at .456" - PERFECT!
