How many malfunctions is "reliable"? .22lr Bulk Packs

And I thought clips were for hair or paper

No, clips are devices that allows one to use rimless ammo such as .45ACP in a double action swing open revolver that uses a center star extractor.

Quality .22 ammo is inexpensive enough that I won't waste my money on bulk ammo.

It all depends. That sounds decent for bulk pack ammo. Even my ammo-happy model 60 will have the occasional malfunction with that stuff. With the 10/22, I have to buy the premium stuff in the plastic boxes. No hollow points...no truncated cones. That's just my rifle, though. If I were shooting that stuff, I'd say that's pretty good. Keep in mind those little rimfires are dirty, especially the bulk stuff. After 100 rounds, your rifle may be getting a little gummy. I'd be happy.
