Usually none, but......

My guns are range only, so my mags sit empty until the night before range time, then any mag that is making the trip gets loaded. I have enough that I count this as part of my daily exercise routine :D

Bedeviler, Guyon .. This thread has made me think more about mag springs, so I'm going to start a new one looking for some info
 
Mag springs will wear out much quicker if you continually "work" them. With a quality spring, you should be able to leave a magazine loaded for years. I recently took some AR mags that have been loaded for quite a few years that got buried in a box to the range, they worked flawlessly. I also can't see any difference in their spring strength and some that I had stored empty. People spend way too much time worrying about magazine springs going bad from static loads, buy better springs and quit worrying!
 
Eight.

3 for the G21 (2-15 rndrs at 13, 1-13 rndr at 11)
3 for the 1911 (2-7's at 7, 1-8 at 8)
1 for the Mini-14 (1-10 at 8)
1 for the M1A (1-5 at 4)

Plus various stripper-clips and hi-caps ready for rifles.
Plus 3 speed loaders for the 44 mag.
