How many magazines came with your new gun?

M&P9c and Glock 26=3
Kahr CM9 and Bodyguard .380=1
Colt 1911 Gov=2
Ruger Super Blackhawk=0...cheapos:D

Obviously by my decision to buy the CM9 and the Bodyguard it didn't bother me to much.

My Walther came with two. My Ruger LCP came with one. My Colt came with one.

Mags are expensive but I don't consider them a factor when buying a gun.

your job

Its your job to know from the manufacturer what your supposed to get.
If doubt occurs, call manufacturer.
I am looking for a rifle, I noticed the same rifle in two different places, a new
rifle one mag, another two mags, they will gladly sell you one, most buyers are plain lazy.

Not to change the subject, but like many I found it's not a significant factor. The flip side is when I sell a gun it's with one mag. I've never found you get any extra value for the extra mags. Buyers expect you to "throw them in".

I sell the extra mags separately from the gun.

HK P-30 (V3), Sphinx SDP, Steyr L9-A1, and Walther PPQ M1 all came with two. Two is the standard it seems with three being a bonus. I consider one a jip.

Last semi auto I bought was a Wilson about 9 yrs ago - it came with 2 but because I knew I was going to shoot it tactically for training, I added more, so they shipped it with 8.

I don't care how many it comes with as long as I can buy what I need.
......................
Last 2 revolvers I bought 2 wks ago ( s&w 627's 8 shot .357 mags ) each came with 3 moon clips .....i'll pick up another dozen - so I can load 100 rds before I go to range..../ 3 were ok....

I believe that most come with two these days, but I feel that three is about the bare minimum. The LCP only came with one! I understand wanting to offer the pistols for lower prices and that means not including magazines, but the cost of making them for the manufacturer is negligible and I don't buy any excuse to exclude them in a pistol box. If you're buying a 1911 or something then no big deal, but proprietary magazines should be included!!!

Not including magazines isn't a deal breaker for me, but the value for including them goes up exponentially in my eyes. For instance, if it's a gun built for duty, they should get you up and ready to go with three mags in the box.

My CZ Tactical Sport came with 3. A recent purchase of a Bersa Thunder 9 Pro XT came with 5 mags. CZ Accu-Shadow came with 3. Most others came with 1 or 2 mags.

Surplus cz52 came with 2 (8rd cap)
Glock model 20 gen 3 came with 2(15rd)
S&W M&P40 came with 2 (15rd)
Springfield loaded 1911 came with 2 (7rd)
Surplus Romanian TT33 came with 2 (8rd)
Walther PPQ .40 M2 came with 2 (one 11rd flush, one 13rd extended)

I buy mostly from the same few places and have had pretty good results simply asking for an additional mag. Maybe 60% of the time they do. 'Specially when they realize they don't need to do the NICS call due to my AZ CWP.

My new springfield emp champion 4" came with 3 mags. Which is great because the mags are proprietary and not regular 1911 mags.

I hate the cost cutting they do to save a buck. I always end up with at least 3 or more mags for most of my guns. On guns like the Ruger LCP you really should have atleast 2, one in the gun and one for a reload.

Now my FNX-45 came with 3 mags! Thanks you FN for taking care of their customers!:D

Springfield XDM 3.8 Compact comes with one short, one extended mag... they had a promotion, and frequently have, that gave an extra two mags (one of each.) SO it came with 4 :)

I keep one short mag (13 rounds) loaded with self defense ammo, and use the other 3 at the range.
