How Many in Your Carry Rotation Right Now?

One. Ruger New Vaquero in 357. Only centerfire gun I own. I also have a .22LR "trainer" of the same frame size (Cimarron Plinkerton).

HK P2000SK - cooler months
Kel-Tec P32 - hot months
Ruger LCR - I'll work it in somewhere (once I put a couple hundred rounds through it that is)

All summer I've pretty much carried my Ruger LCP. Come cooler months, I'll go back to my S&W 637 Airweight or my Springfield TRP 1911.

LOL I thought I was in violation of some basic law of the pistolero by not picking one piece, constant practice, and it being like a part of your body.

I most often pack a Ruger 357 SP101 2-1/4", Glock 27 or Kimber Ultra CDP.
Occasionally just a KelTec P32 in a Desantis pocket holster (church, grocery store, mailbox etc.)
In winter I often trade the Ruger for a S&W 4" Model 65. Sometimes in the summer just I'll slip a Smith 442 in a pocket if I'm feeling like packing light.

I keep a KelTec P11 and a Galco pocket holster in the glove compartment for to and from work because I don't carry at work. There's also a Mini-14 and a full size 1911 in the trunk.

Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 when I'm wheeling, camping or hiking.

I try to practice with each at least once a month. More often for the most recent ones.

I only have 2 for ccw rotation, and i want 3 more to add to the rotation.
But bills and lack of cash have made me depressed latley, and im not about to trade or sell a current gun i own.

1. My main EDC is my PT745 Taurus, hoestly i forget its in my waistband. That says alot for any gun thats a .45acp!
2. Full sized PT1911 and yes i even carry it under a tshirt thanks to my homemade kydex IWB holster. The front sight needs filed on as it pokes my backside when sitting. Its taking a bit of getting used to carrying it tho.Its definetly not as comfy as my other carry piece. But knowing that hogleg is within reach at all times i feel safe and warm deep down inside when carrying it.

I have 3 others to add to my rotation once i can ever get some cash saved.
1. Compact single stack 9mm that can also do range duty,PT709 most likley.
2. I want a small .380 just to have another even smaller gun,Sig 238 or the Keltec 3at.
3. Is a slot ive not given much thought,a Kahr .40 or Sig 239 and mabey a micro 1911 9mm.

Ive only gotten back into handguns a few months back after staying away for almost 20 years. So i cant really complain to own 3 guns after just a few months.

Old School, Plastic Fantastic and the Pocket Rocket

The rotation is currently Springfield GI 1911, G19 and PM9. This rotation has been steady for some months. Might have to shake it up a bit.

6

Primary summer- Taurus 425
Primary winter S&W 629
BUGs- KelTec P-32
NAA Mini 22 LR
Fishin' guns-Glock 20
Bond 410
When I get a job again, I'd like to get a Charter Bulldog to replace the Taurus and get some Tuff Strips loaded with 44 Specials to simplify everything. I love my Glock 20 and have thought about doing the Glock 20/29 combo, but I love those wheelies!

Browning HiPower
Glock 19
Walther PPK
S&W 640

The Glock is the most common one, just fits nice, rides nice in its holster and i shoot best with it :)

Glock 26
Kahr P9
S&W Mod 60

I prefer the G26 for the extra firepower. But the bulk can be difficult to conceal at times. The P9 and Mod 60 both make great pocket guns with a proper pocket holster.

1. S&W 342: J-frame concealed hammer .38+P. Kicks like a mule, but is light enough for pocket carry. Pretty much what I carry most of the time. I use a Nemesis pocket holster. I don't usually carry a reload, but have a speed-loader in the car.

2. Glock 19: In a Fobus, 124-gr. +P+ JHPs. Don't usually carry a reload. I choose it when I visit higher-threat areas, or travel.

3. S&W 65: When I anticipate having to leave the gun in the car, this one I figure wouldn't break my heart if it were stolen, in a holster under the seat with two speed-loaders. 125 gr. .357 JHPs.

G23 almost always but sometimes rotate between Sig229 and Colt mustang for "Dress up" occasions such as weddings and the like!

most of the time I carry a Smith M&P 340.
often though I carry one of these instead (in no particular order)
Seecamp 32,Ruger SP101,High Standard crusader compact,HK P7PSP,
Charter arms Bulldog,Taurus 431.
all of these have been carried and will most likely be carried again at some point.(again in no particular order)
Ruger Montado,American Derringer 357, Ruger Vaquero birdshead 45 Colt,3" Smith 29,4" GP100, 4" Smith 65,STI Spartan,2 Springfield 1911a1 45s,Colt LW commander 38 Super,Kimber 5" 1911 in 38 super,Smith 1076,Browning Hi Power 9mm,CZ85 Combat, CZ 82, Russian IJ70 Makarov,Colt Delta Elite.
And in honor of it's living through the era I even carried my 1908 Colt vest pocket "chambered in the hard hitting 25ACP" (quoted from a 1930s era Shooters Bible LOL) to go see Johnny Depp in Dillinger.

I only carry handguns I'm willing to lose to the criminal justice system; so that evolves two 2. In summer I carry a Springfield Armory XD-40 SC 40, and when I can wear a jacket I carry a Springfield Armory GI .45 (a green parkerized one) with Novak Nite Sights, flat mainspring housing, long trigger and Wilson magazine. The GI .45 was to be my late model copy of the Remington Rand .45 ACP I carried on patrol boats in Vietnam, but the longer I had it the more I tinkered with it. I shoot Cor-Bon out of both. All the best, for all the worst. :)

P.S. Folks have asked me about my PHD. It is in Pantheistic Solipsism. I studied under Dr. Lafe Hubert, Dr. Virginia Gerstenfeld, Corporal Ted Bronson, Dr. Jubal Harshaw, Michael Valentine Smith, Corporal Ted Bronson and other leaders in the field.

I have 6 I can carry:

Springfield XD9SC
Springfield XD40SC
Steyr S40
Steyr S9
Bersa Thunder .380
Taurus 85UL

For various reasons, I carry the XD9SC 99.8% of the time. I don't really believe in having different carry guns. If the SHTF, I don't want to have to shop and think (safety, DA/SA, round count, etc.) which one I have holstered today.
