How Many in Your Carry Rotation Right Now?

I recently dropped one of my hot weather guns for a cool weather gun in my carry rotation. I also dropped one of two of the J-frames I had. By carry rotation, I mean those that you might carry this week and that you have lubed, loaded (or quickly so), and ready to go. What do you have in your carry rotation right now? Here's mine:

1. Les Baer Stinger -- .45 acp
2. SW 3913 -- 9mm
3. SW 637 -- .38 spl
4. Ruger LCP -- .380

Primary is Wilson Combat 1911 CQB 5" in .45 acp
backup is Sig 239 in .40 S&W

I don't carry anything else out of my "collection"...

1. Colt LW Commander - IWB
2. Ruger SP-101 3" - IWB... somehow more comfortable than the Colt for when I'm feeling overly poked at.
3. S&W 642-1 no-lock, pocket, for when I'm too lazy to dress around a gun.

I have one primary that goes everywhere with me.

I have others for various uses, and they all get carried/used as appropriate.

No use for safe queens around here.

These are really in no particular order:

Walther PPS 9MM
Walther PPK 380ACP
Rock Island Armory Compact Tactical 1911 45ACP
Para Ordnance Companion C7.45 LDA 45ACP
Ruger LCP 380ACP
North American Arms PUG 22MAG
Glock 26 9MM
Smith & Wesson Model 60 38SPL
SIG SAUER P239 9MM

The ones I carry most frequently are the PPS and the NAA PUG.

Various 1911's - all .45 ACP,
Glocks - 9, .40, .45,
Small frame revolvers - .38 & .357

It just all depends where I'm going, and what I'm doing.

Hi,
Same as DARYL, all my guns are used for various types of shooting, but if I always carry the same one (S&W 4006).

Brgds,

Basically, four. Right now those four are 2 P226's in 357SIG and 2 Seecamps in .32. In the winter it jumps to six, with 2 P230's in .380 or 2 S&W 642's added, depending on the situation.

What that really equates to is one of each with the others in reserve and in active rotation. I have exact duplicates of anything I carry and they get rotated out about twice a month as I shoot the ones in my holsters in practice. The guns in reserve are used for dry fire and back ups, in case something were to happen to its mate.

A S&W Bodyguard in a pocket holster for the extremely hot and humid summer days, and a Kahr P40 in a Galco stow n' go IWB holster for every other time. I hope to get a high capacity 45 soon for winter carry, maybe a CZ?

I mostly carry a Sig 239 in.40 or Glock 27. Occasionally/rarely a Beretta Tomcat for a pocket gun when clothing requirements dictate.

Sig P220 is my primary carry (there is actually more than one, I rotate them around).
S&W 686+ is for woods carry
Kahr K40 for when I can't carry the P220
S&W 638 for pocket carry

My "primary" gets rotated between an H&K USP Compact .40 S&W LEM, and a H&K USP Compact .45 ACP. I try to rotate every other week or so. The backup weapon remains a constant: Glock 36 chambered in .45 ACP.

Every once in awhile, dependent upon how I am going to carry, which is a function of what I am wearing, I'll put my Kimber .45 Stainless Carry Pro into service as the primary.

If I am doing something that the uniform of the day requires a bathing suit or similar, I'll dig out my North American Arms .32 Semi-Auto Handgun. Easy to hide and better than carrying a big stick.
