How many Hoosiers here?

I guess I should have given my hometown in my post. I live outside of West Lafayette (Go Boilers!) and work for Lilly's at the south side of Indy.

Wife was born in SW Indiana and mom-in-law still lives there (Linton). We visit at least once a year. Not bad for not being Texas.

For those of you in central Indiana, there's going to be a SAFE meeting (Second Amendment For Everyone) this Wednesday, August 9th at 7:00 p.m. at the Marion County Fish & Game Association. (See website in my above post for directions.) Me and simonov jr will be there. JeffOTMG may even be there. Come join us! :D If you have questions, e-mail me - gdoan@iquest.net .

PJ,

I do most of my shooting on the weekends on private land in Martinsville. And I just moved to Brownsburg and I too will soon be joining the Marion County Fish and Game Assoc. where Blueeyedog shoots. I also checked out the Danville conservation club, but it seemed a bit crazy. It's a small gun range that won't let you shoot auto-pistols or semi-auto centerfire rifle. Just go there and ask why these rules exist and you'll Barf.

If you live in Plainfield, I wonder if you have checked out Plainfield Shooting Supplies behind Galyans. I get most of my stuff from there, and Galyans too, because I have a friend who works in the gun department. - Brook.

Are you guys going to the 1500?

TBeck-- Decatur is my home town. My parents live there as do my daughter and my ex. I get down there about every other weekend when I get my daughter and visit my parents.
If you need help, let me know!

MP, I live on the east side of INDPLS, but get out to Plainfield Shooting Supplies about once a month. If any of you guys shoot .40 *&*, they have real good deals on once fired brass from the Academy. This is truly "once fired" brass. Usually "once fired" means it has only been fired once since the last time it was loaded, but that is not true in this case. Usually it goes for $30/1000, but when I was in there last Friday, they had it for $25/1000. They still had 5,000 left when I departed. They get resupplied every month.Good, clean brass if you need some.

Have you checked out the reloading supplies at A to Z Reloading on 3301 W. Morris in INDPLS? They have even a bigger selection than Plainfield. They have one of the biggest displays at the 1500 Gun Show.

A to Z is the cheapest when it comes to reloading supplies. P;ainfield is excellent on prices, we always check there before buying. SAFE should have a table at the August 1500. I'm still waiting for confirmation of this, but they cashed my check so I figure that's a good sign. :p If we got our table I'll be there most of the weekend.

Are you going to the match at Red Brush this Sun? I plan to be there. I'll be the old fart with no hair and the plastic Ruger.

Another Bloomingtonian here.

Any who is interested in shooting in the south-central area, e-mail me. We (Sycamore Valley Conservation and Education Foundation) just purchased some land in Freedom (s. of Spencer) and will be starting construction of a new shooting sports facility sometime this fall.

Logansport is the old homestead here! Transplanted badger but have been in Indiana 29 of the last 31 years, the last 25 right here next to the Wabash and the Eel. Shoot at the L'anguile Practical Pistol League.
