How many gun sites?

How many internet gun sites are some of you on? I ask because while doing a search today on google for something I was pointed to a thread on this site. WHOA I said.....I'd forgotten all about this site (sorry guys and gals) and noticed that I hadn't been here since Jan. 31. I usually hit all the favorite sites every couple of days to see what I can learn. Wow, hope to not forget this one again. And nobody even missed me..........

I visit 3 sites regularly, TFL most often.

You were expecting maybe a postcard reminder like you get from your dentist?:D

At least a dozen good ones, everything from ammo and gun trackers, sales/auction sites, to specific platform sites to general like TFL, TGT, etc.

Let's see....this site, GaOutdoorNews, GaPacking, theoutdoorstrader, defensivecarry, concealedcarry, usacarry, xdtalk, cztalk, and on FB the following 3 sites....ga shotgun site, less than $200 gun site, pocket carry site......along with remembering those is trying to remember which password is for which site....
Maybe the wifey is right that I'm on these sites too much? Naaaaa.....:D

Just this one and my gun blog. I tried thehighroad for a while but found it to be largely more of what I got here and was too lazy to keep up with both.

I'm proud to say I'm Internet free except for this dump. Jk guys there's a reason it's the only site I'm on. I'm also pinstaintsaface free. I have an email account and a debit card. ..watch out world.

I visit two, this one the most. The other is dedicated to 1911s. I'm a member of maybe eight others but seldom visit. They are mostly dedicated to one brand of firearm and I had some very specific questions over the years.

Actually, you'll find that many searches for relatively obscure and specialized subjects lead people here.

One reason is that we do our best to keep the signal/noise ratio under control. We don't go for drive-by posts or "me too" silliness, and we keep discussions focused.

There are forums with more traffic and members than ours, but we put quality over quantity. I'm very proud to be a part of that.

Another is that we don't do periodic purges of the database. You'll find everything intact from 1999 to the present day.

TFL and THR. I find these sites to be the best with the most info and the least BS. I think the Mods do an excellent job on both sites.
I am a member of Archery Talk (I know, bows aren't guns), but have never posted there.

Also what Tom said is the truth, a great many searches I have done link to TFL.

Members of:

TFL
The-Russian-Mosin-Nagan-Forum (I am the youngest there woot-woot)
Rugerforum.net
Southern California Mosin Owners
NC Gun Owners (I only visit this one occasionally for the Buy/Sell/Trade forum)
SKSSurvivalistForums (I joined this when I was heavily considering an SKS, haven't posted once)

I think that's about it...
I only visit TFL and the RussianMN Forum regularly.

I'm a busy kid.

The other day with nothing better to do I did a google search for whatever I could find on the 7x57 Mauser cartridge as I'm considering using mine for an upcoming elk hunt. About 5 hours and 15 pages later I quit. I didn't know there were so many forums in existence. Some were in Europe, Australia, Africa and Canada. Did find quite a bit of interesting and sometimes conflicting data and opinions. Kind of fun in a way. may have to do it again on some other cartridge. Certainly was not boring.
