How long is your wish list?

I was putting together a list of handguns that have a strong interest in buying for whatever reason. My intent is to research average new prices for the models so that if I come across one somewhere and decide to buy, I have rough sense of what I should pay. Guns that I'm just mildly interested in are not on the list. If they were, I'd run out of paper if I were to print it out. Also, I know that some of these models are not yet available, but I expect them to come out at some point.

9 mm
Sig Sauer P250 (Sub-compact)
Sig Sauer P250 (Full-size)
Heckler & Koch P30 (LEM)
Springfield Armory XDM9
Glock G17
Glock G26
Sig Sauer P226 DAK
Glock G34
Sig Sauer P239 DAK
Smith & Wesson M&P9

.380 ACP
Beretta Cheetah Model 84 (Nickel)
Sig Sauer P232 (Stainless)
Beretta Cheetah Model 85 (Nickel)

.45 ACP
Heckler & Koch HK45 LEM
Sig Sauer P220 DAK

.357 Magnum/.38 Special
Ruger GP100 (3-inch Stainless)
Ruger SP101 (3-1/16-inch Stainless)
Ruger Blackhawk (4-5/8-inch Stainless)
Beretta Laramie (5-inch Nickel -- .38 Special Only)
Beretta Stampede Old West (4-3/4-inch)

.327 Federal
Ruger SP101 (3-1/16-inch Stainless)

.45 Colt
Ruger Redhawk (4-inch Stainless)

.44 Magnum/.44 Special
Ruger Redhawk (5-1/4-inch Stainless)

I'm kind of curious how my wish list tracks with others -- not necessarily the guns that are on it, but the overall length. In other words, am I the only one who, money willing, would have to rent a warehouse to hold them all?

Feel free to PM me if you want to give me one or more of these guns. :p

I could not possible afford my wish list, but it's over a dozen - all .38 or .357 revolvers, 9mm and .45acp autoloaders. I have no interest in adding new calibres, other then a couple of .22lr autoloaders and single shot wheel guns.

On my immediate list of things is a 5" Ruger GP100 (before Davidson's sells out the limited run of them), a S&W 620, a CZ PCR, and a SIG P220 Carry. Those I plan to buy new over the next year or so.

My problem is I keep seeing nice used items in the forums that I'd really love to pick up (like the Wilson KZ-45 currently in the highroad classifieds), but that uses up money being put aside for the new things.

It's viscous catch-22, and I can only hope that my lottery numbers come up soon!!!

Only 3
Ruger Blackhawk
S&W 442
Browning 22 auto rifle.
Sad for me is that we had a major electrical problem had home last month, there went all my gun money.

Thats one heck of a list.

I own 4 handguns, a S&W 38 j frame, S&W 357 revolver, S&W 22 auto and Sig P6.

I want a .380 mouse gun(probably a LCP), a full size 9mm(S&W MP) and maybe a mid size 45 ACP(probably a S&W MP). I plan on trading off the Sig for compact glock or S&W MP.

Never seen the point of collecting more guns then you can shoot, I try to buy my guns to fill a purpose, I prefer spending my cash on ammo and accessories.

I have at at least that many right now,.....

And my wish list is no where near complete, but I am getting closer.
Unlike you, I have little interest in new guns, most of what is on my wish list is no longer made. Some of them have been out of production for decades.

Aside from wishing I had a decent choice to vote for tomorrow...

The only thing on my wish list is a pre-lock, 4 inch S&W 625 (or better yet, a 45 acp M-25)

I already have a pretty good size safe bulging at the seams so there are only a few on my list. Being that I don't want anything new it's a matter of one popping up for sale.

No 1911's on that list?

Nope. I've had a few 1911s, ranging from Springfields to Wilsons. Never really got into them. Great design and all, but not for me.

By the way, I by no means think that I'll end up buying more than a few of the things on my wish list (unless someone gives me a winning lottery ticket), and I'm sure that my wish list will change over time.

Springfield XD9SC
SIG P232 .380ACP or Walther PPK/S .380ACP
CZ-75 SP-01
S&W M&P 9mm or 40S&W
HK USP45
GLOCK 19
Ruger Hunter 22
Colt Commander 1911
SIG P228 9mm
SIG P229 Elite Stainless 357SIG
Beretta 92FS
FN FiveSeven
Kahr Arms MK9 Stainless
HK P2000 9mm

I haven't been buying anything other than more 1911's lately. I have pretty much every non-1911 I want at this point, which has made my wish list much shorter.

My list right now is pretty short: MR-93, even though I understand it to be the poor cousin to the '73.

Failing the above and hitting the lotto, a Korth is interesting.

If both my revolver "wish list" items fall into place (HA!), then my attention will return to the STI Legend.

For the first time in a very long time there are no shotguns, rifles or single action revolvers that interest me. Given the small chance of actually finding an MR-93, followed by a Legend I expect this next year will be very kind to me, finances-wise.
;)

On my list to buy in the next year:

-Ruger GP-100 SS 6"

-S&W M&P45 4"

-Glock 26

wish list after that:

-SAA clone 5 1/2" .45colt

-S&W 625

-another airweight J-frame

-Ruger mkIII .22lr

-Sig p-6

-Walter PPk in .32acp

-Browning Hi-power 9mm

-Mil-spec Colt 1911 in .45acp

-S&W 3913

I don't know how long my wish list is, so I'll have to think & type it out:

Revolvers - Should be set, once I get the Redhawk back from Ruger. I don't have any interest in a full size 357; I can handload the Redhawk down to those levels. A S&W 317, Ruger SP-101, or Single Six in 22 LR.

Autos - I'd like a Charles Daly 1911, and maybe another Glock some day. Probably a 36 (single stack, 45 ACP) or a 17.

Rifles - I'd like a Marlin 1894 in 44 Magnum to buddy up with my Redhawk. I'd also like a Savage bolt action with the Accu-trigger in 22 Hornet. I don't even know if they're made in that caliber, but I don't want to throw the dice on a Ruger. (they're hit & miss, accuracy-wise, I've read) Maybe a basic AR-15 some day.

T/C - I'd like a Contender G2 in 30-30. I could make some sweet loads with proper bullets.

Shotties - A nice Winchester Super X2 for an all around one. A Ruger Red Label for clays and if I ever go bird hunting.

I don't know where to begin with my list.

The first thing I'd want would be a Springfield Custom Shop 1911 (probably the Operator full-size model). After that, I'd probably buy something from Hechler and Koch–they make an impressive product, in my opinion.

I just hope I hit the Powerball someday.

Only thing on my list, are guns for specific duty's, and not to own more of the same concept's.

Like, I don't have a narrow 9mm pocket gun like a Karh PM9 or Walther PPS, or a high cap 9mm poly frame gun (SR9, M&P9 XD9). And I don't have a 44 mag like a Redhawk.

I guess a 1911 (DW) sooner than all these guns, because I have a pocket gun, a revolver (Airweight), and a high cap 9mm steel gun (CZ75).

So my list is only four.
