How long did it take gun prices to go down after 2008?

All other prices have been trending upwards. Even those aforementioned .38spl revolvers have gone way up... I see people saying K frames are available for $200, and it seems like those folks are stuck in 2004. I'm not seeing them for much less than $350-400 when available. Seems word has gotten out that those are good guns to get.

Well like I posted earlier a lot depends on where you are at. The prices on .38 Spl revolvers have gone up (like they have on everything - not just guns) since 2004, but they are still lower than the magnums and semi-autos and definitely lower than the new guns.

Also I can't speak for where you live but here in my area they are fairly common and they just don't sell as well.

It's all relative.
 
I don't think they ever did go back down,,,

Ammo eventually went down a bit,,,
But never to the levels before the election year madness.
