I prefer OWB when weather and circumstances allow

I have any number of overshirts that work quite well at concealing any of my handguns at a 3:30-4:00 position, OWB. This is a more comfortable carry method than IWB, although I have IWB holsters as well; there are times when it's just too hot to go with an over-shirt, but an IWB and an oversized t-shirt will do the trick.

I am still waiting for a shoulder holster I ordered, so I'm not sure if it will be comfortable or how much I will like it. TBD.

Pocket carry is another method I'll use, but not as often as OWB. For one thing, the handguns I'd carry OWB are more comfortable to shoot than the ones I can pocket carry. For another, seated access to a pocket carried handgun can be iffy.

Cheers,

M

I carry a KT P32 in my pocket virtually all of the time. What I wear affects my other modes of carry: OWB when a covering garment can be worn, and inside jacket pocket, and in a fanny pack. I also have a revolver in my briefcase while driving to and from the office.

do u carry on waist band concealed?
Yes, many of us carry outside waist band, and still concealed. I find it pretty easy to do under a long dress shirt, and very easy under a winter coat.

how could you leave out OWB?
I think he just figured OWB carry was open carry, and IWB was concealed.

I normally carry IWB strongside at about 3:30-4:30. But do also carry OWB sometimes, and have carried in a shoulder holster when I'm going to spend most of the day driving.

I normally carry a spare mag in a galco horizontal mag pouch OWB for either IWB or OWB carry, and 2 spares to fill up the shoulder holster's pouches when I wear it.

OWB is in a fobus kydex paddle holster, IWB in a High Noon Holsters Down Under.

I voted "other" because in cold weather I carry in a holster "outside" my waistband or fanny pack.

Warm weather fanny pack or camera case.

Or in the pocket in a holster, if need be.

IWB strongside. Milt Sparks Summer Specials do the trick for me. 2 speedloaders in my strongside pocket. But then I always have a KT P-32 in my weakhand pocket in a Desantis Nemisis.

seasons change and so do the guns. but primary is iwb and secondary is left coat or vest pocket. a run to the store or walk the dog may be just a p3at in a holdster in my pocket.

I will apologize for leaving off OWB. I dont know anyone who carries this way and just figured anyone who did would be open carrying. Forgive me for my thoughtlessness.

I have found that OWB is comfortable and pretty easy to conceal. It is much more comfortable IMO but when wearing a t-shirt i use IWB.

Off body in a smallish messenger bag. I like to OC OWB, especially in the woods, but that wasn't the question. Sometimes the Beretta Tomcat finds it's way into the front right pocket.
