big bill, im not asking for pics of you waving your gun around or something, i just thought it would be interesting to use an ANONOMOUS poll to see the most popular carry place.

IWB (appendix carry):

I carry IWB. I want to try out a shoulder holster but don't have the income to spend on a decent one. I actually want to pick up a holser from Kramer Handgun Leather. They are out of Tacoma, WA and want to know what people think of these holsters. I've heard nothing but good things.

I haven't tried their shoulder holster, but I've had at least four Kramer holsters of various types and all have been pretty decent, if a bit on the squeaky side. Probably the squeakiest holsters I've owned.

That said, I don't use any of the Kramer holsters anymore, because I pocket carry these days. A Glock 27 in one pocket and a spare magazine in the opposite is likely more firepower than I'll ever need.

Typically OWB between 3 and 4 o'clock in either a Kramer or El Paso open top holster (depends on the gun I'm carrying). When that's not feasable, a smaller gun goes in my right front pants pocket in a Galco pocket holster.

www.comp-tac.com MTAC between 2:30 - 4:00 depending on what I'm wearing and whichever gun I happen to be carrying. Mostly full or + size glocks, though I just got an amazing trigger job on my M&P 9, so it'll be seeing some rotation now as well.

Out of curiosity, and this is an honest to god question. What harm could posting your mode of carry on an internet board do? Not trying to start anything (though I'm sure it will) but I can't think of even a far-fetched scenario where it might matter...

Used to be mostly IWB. But as I've gotten older and lazier, its almost always pocket, now.

However, when I'm hiking/camping I carry a .45 in my pocket...

I use a Bianchi IWB holster similar to the one in the pic, except mine is for a Ruger SP101. I carry between 2 and 3 o'clock. This position combines the most comfort with ultimate concealability (is that a word?). With my shirt over it, it just disappears.

galco shoulder rig with 4in 686 and fobus paddle with same gun. depends on were i am going and what i am wearing.

I'm most comfortable with OWB, crossdraw at 10 o'clock. Been doin' that since the 80's. I've found that during any confrontation I naturally cross my arms at waist level which just accidentally puts my right hand on the but of whatever I'm carrying. It looks natural, gets me into a defensive ready position and doesn't scream "GUN'.

I'd like to try the crossbreed supertuck if it'll fit a G29. (not a standard size despite that most people simply think "subcompact Glock")
If they don't list the 29, but list the 30, you can use that. Only difference is in height. The grip on the 29 is shorter by a bit. They even weigh the same loaded.
