G'day. When I was younger I used to shoot lots of bunnies. Occasionally somebody would ask 'why'. One answer that I liked to use is that farmers have a legal obligation to control (reduce) the number of rabbits on their land. Shooting is just one tool that they have and I am happy to help out. Shooting is targeted to specific animals unlike poison that can kill native (protected) animals.
