Well, let's see.You bought a gun that has....
1) A beavertail grip safety
2) A delta hammer
3) Extended thumb safety
4) Extended slide lock
5) Lowered and flaired ejection port
6) A magwell
7) A better trigger (aluminum?, not plastic)
8) Sights that you can actually see
That 1991a1 did not come from the factory with those upgrades.
Around here, the cost of those parts, and labor to install them would be North of $400.
The only thing I see that is missing, and is not a deal breaker, is Front Strap Checkering.
Most of us here didn't come close to doing this well on our first 1911.
All of that for $600, too. You, my friend, did extremely well.
Those other guys that were "coming back" are gonna kick themselves.
