Houston police officer gunned down

Yesterday at approximately5:30 pm, officer Rodney Johnson, a 12 year veteran of the houston police dept. was shot 5 times and killed as he was sitting in the front seat of his patrol car.

He had made a traffic stop and for whatever reason, the driver was handcuffed and put in the back seat. Somehow he was able to shoot the officer thru the plastic shield seperating the front and back seat.

Did the officer make an mistake in his search of this guy? Maybe, but thats not the point. Nevermind that Mr. Johnson was a cop, thats beside the point also. The point is that the piece of human excrement who shot Mr. Johnson is an ILLEGAL alien.

Not only is he an illegal, he has a long criminal history dating back to 1995, including DWI's,failure to stop and render aid, and also a sexual abuse of a child charge.

Because our elected officials are a bunch of spineless pukes, a good American is dead. Five children woke up this morning knowing they will never see thier daddy again.

Mayor Bill White and police chief Harold Hurtt stood there at the press conference and acted like they were just overcome with grief. Well Mr. White and Mr. Hurtt, as far as i am concerned, you both have blood on your hands as you both support the city of Houstons sanctuary policy in regards to the ILLEGALS.

My blood has been boiling all day. We let these people come over here and force thier will upon us, we give in to thier every little whim. Protesting in our streets, stomping on our flag, demanding rights.

They should have NO rights except the right to go back to wherever the hell it is they came from.

Spare me all this "oh, they are just hard working people looking for a better life" crap. Maybe most of them are, but let them find it in thier own countries, they like to protest so much, do it in your own country, maybe you can do some good with it. To me, they are all a bunch of leaches, milking Americans for everything they can get from us.

And another thing, LULAC, where the hell are you? had that policeman thrown that scumbag up against the car, LULAC would have had a protest rally in support of that guys "rights". I will tell you when we will hear from LULAC, it will be 15-20 years from now when the state gets ready to exterminate that cockroach. Then LULAC will be screaming about his "rights".

The officers responding to the scene showed remarkable composure, finding the scum in the back seat while officer Johnson was slumped over the steering wheel. How they resisted the urge to put a round or 10 in that guys head i will never know.

My heartfelt prayers go out to Mr. Johnsons family. As for that dirtbag, he can rot in hell, thats where he is headed.

Slightly. That could have been my brother, whom is a cop. It could have been me or you too.

Its beyond comprehension how a illegal with that criminal record is allowed to have stayed in the country. Maybe at some point he had been deported in the past, but because our border security is a joke he came right back over.

We dont know if these people are tomato pickers or serial killers.

Countless Americans are victimized every single day by illegals.

We have plenty of Americans who are dirtbags, do we really need to be taking in those from other countries as well?

....because you guessed right. The scuzzbucket was in fact deported after being convicted for sexual abuse of a child (12 year old girl) and he snuck right back and moved back in with his wife and daughter.

The wife of the shooter was interviewed on channel 2 just a little while ago, voice electronically warped. But she is a security guard...and it was her gun he took and used on Officer Johnson. She stood at the door and wept "that poor family...it was my gun that killed him....that poor family...."

The system that allows a sexual predator to be turned loose south of a border with holes the size of the moon in it is just obscene. The clown shouldn't have been deported. He should have been put in prison here for a life sentence. As it is, the most heinous crimes end up being basically a "no jail time" sentence because Mexico doesn't put them in jail and they just come back.

This is outrageous, and White and Hurtt are not the only ones that should answer for this. It's the feds that won't close the border.

...and by other minorities, and by Caucasions and, heck, by animals even! I am not siding against you, but crimes like this are commited all the time by 'legals' too. I feel horrible for the family of that officer, and I agree that the suspect should be punished severely (read: death penalty) but not because of his nationality. Because he commited a crime of this magnitude. The good ole' U.S. of A is full of groups who would willingly kill a police officer to avoid jail or deportation or whatever. I agree that the illegal immigration issue is hot right now and that something needs to be done, but as a human being, I cannot find fault with people that want to make a better life for themselves here. I am sure whatever boat your ancestors came over on had its share of rats on-board as well...

Doesn't marrying a citizen - or even a legal resident - make one at least a legal resident? Unless by some stroke of magic this wife was illegal yet had a job as an armed security guard. Does this not sound a bit strange to anyone?
 
I can guarantee that this piece of slime will be extradited back to mexico if Texas even breathes the words "death penalty" in relation to this case. He is a mexican national after all, and we have a treaty.

I say we dissolve that treaty starting 1 day after this guy is convicted.

Not necessarily. You still have to go through the paperwork. And even a "legal resident" becomes persona non grata after the commission of a felony (sexual abuse of a child) like this dirtbag did. And once he was deported, he was certainly no longer a legal resident.

Not only that, but according to CNN.com's national news page, the Denver police arrested the scuzzbag in April and suspected at the time that his papers were forged but just like Houston, Denver policer were at that time forbidden to investigate this issue. Had they been able to do so, the woman he murdered would still be alive. Wonder if that will sink in to Chief Hurtt's head???? :eek: :barf:

As of the 9:00 local news on Fox, the ADA is saying "I don't care what nationality you are, if you kill a cop here, you will face the death penalty." He's not going to get a second pass across the border this time, treaty or no treaty.

The predictable finger-pointing between the city and the feds has started, with the police chief yowling about the feds refusing to enforce the border (can't disagree with that) but refusing to deal with the fact that he FORBIDS Houston police from checking the immigration status of people pulled over or stopped for whatever reason. That, according to him, is "not our job". :barf: :mad:

Wonder if the Minutemen still need some help down on the borders?

Thats correct. Thats why i said "we have plenty of American dirtbags....."

There is no arguement that will make me sympathetic to the "plight" of these people. They make it REAL hard to feel for them when they come here ILLEGALLY and then bitch and moan about how bad they have it here, how they have "no rights".

School kids holding mexican flags while adults lead them in the pledge of allegiance to MEXICO. Yea, that makes me feel real good towards them, and yanking down the American flag and stomping on it? Gotta love that!

Oh yea, i forgot to mention that an F.B.I. agent was also shot in Houston while serving a warrant for a gang task force, once again the perps were illegal. Fortunately, unlike officer Johnson, his wounds arent going to be life threatening.

Hello? Has anyone thought about prosecuting the wife here? Harboring a felon who has re-entered the country (illegally, obviously) after deportation is a crime all on its own. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt regarding her feelings about her pond-scum husband using her gun, but why the hell didn't she contact the authorities when he returned? Why would you even think about letting a convicted child molester live in your house when you have a child?

As usual, none of the reporters has thought of this.
Not surprising since if brains were dynamite they couldn't even blow their noses.
 
I honestly do not know what it is going to take to get through to Bush et al that this open border rapproachment with our neighbors to the south is undermining our national security. If this killer can waltz right back over the border at will and sashay right back to his wife, what on EARTH do they think prevents some of al-Qaeda from doing the same?

If anybody has any great ideas on how to get this through the president's thick head, I'd love to hear 'em, because I sure don't think he's paying attention.

You're right, we are not 'overrun with illegals' here. All I am saying is that, to me, this immigration issue resounds with historical significance akin to the days of the civil-rights issues of the 60's. How far has our great nation come in the last 50 years only to be back-peddled to racially inspired hatred? We have problems with our system, that is a fact that I can stand behind. But as screwed-up as we think our society is, how bad does it have to be in Mexico for the citizenry of that country to see the US as the 'promised land'? Laws need to be changed. Treaties need to be re-examined, and the US needs to buck-up and take a stand against violent crime. Do illegals commit crimes? Heck yes. Are they all evil-doers who want to see America fall? No. Here in Indianapolis, we are experiencing a severe violent crime wave. Our city is on the verge of setting a record number of murders. In the last month murders have been averaging more than 1 a day. The common thread in them all is that ALL the murders have been committed by/against African Americans. Should we deport all of them?
Take a stand against crime. Take a stand against immigration policy. Don't hate an entire race based upon the violent actions of a few.

I'll put this in Texan for you: This ain't got nothin' to do with race.

This has to do with a totally corrupt neighbor that knowingly directs his trash over the fence into my backyard. It has to do with people being here illegally. It has to do with national security. But it's headed towards being just about race, and the chips will fall where they may.
 
Terrible thing. I remember reading a thread that a person was upset that he was searched before being placed in the back of a squad car.

On one of the news channels, 20% of Houstons crime is attributed to the 120,000 remaining refugees from New Orleans. I wonder what the % is for the illegal aliens?

I think we just need to build a fence along the border, patrol the fence 24/7, and get it over with. Then we can figure out how to deal with all the illegals currently here. I do favor work visa's.
