Homemade target stand, anybody have a good design

Another fan of real estate signs, but what will also work are various retail store metal display racks of the "H" basic design. Stores go out of business, or a rack becomes obsolete and they get tossed. The one I have is black, about 20" wide and tall enough to let me use a nice big piece of cardboard that will hold 9 8-1/2 x 11 sheets of paper taped with spacing between them

The nice thing about cardboard, it doesn't tear your paper targets by splintering into them, and cardboard folds up nice when its time to clean up.

I use rebar.The bigbox home stores sell it precut.You might get a pair of 3 footers and a pair of 1 footers,Cut about a 3 in chunk off each of the 3 footers for a spacer,

------------------=========---

Weld the one footer and thr three footer together parallel with the spacer between to make a fork.You use them as a pair.Drive them into the ground and stuff a cellotex target board in the tines of the fork.

Make as pictured in post #3 except use angle iron. Top and bottom afix a 4" wide piece of particle board/plywood. Staple cardboard to wood and target to cardboard. If able just chain to post or tree for next time.

I did that and some 'shooter' shot my lock. Didnt use the frame just shot the lock. That was at a gun club range.
