HK USP 45: Buy or Not to Buy?

just to tarnish the golden image
I am sure that HK makes great handguns. I simply did not have one. I bought a bran'spanken'new usp45 about a year ago and hand nothing but problems. I am typically a 1911 fan and that is why I liked the usp I guess, so anyway I went out and got all pumped up about the weapon and it was a flop! I tried every kind of ammo, polished the feed ramp oiled the mag's tried different mags and so on. Nothing worked I was bummed out and sold it for an M-9 (92/f). Never had any problems since and would not go back to HK. I am sure every company has it's rotton eggs in the dozen good one's, just make sure and go over any usp you look at. I f you need to though, they have great resale value!

Not to flame or anything, but in all your attempts to make it work did you give H&K a chance to look at it and make it right?
If I happened to get a firearm from any manufacturer that didn't work, I'd ship it straight to that manufacturer for a fix.
What problems did you have with your USP?
