The Expert, Match and Tactical all share mags with forward curving bottoms and a little lip that really help when firing.

Don't jump on a SOCOM unless you have held it. I used to want one until I held it and I found the grip a little too big for my liking.

PVerieck--Thanks for the reminder about the size.I have put an order in for the Tactical, and will try to wait it out.A load of USP models were just shipped to my FFL, and more Tacticals are on order. I'll have to be content to play with my other toys till my Tactical arrives.Hope I can hold out that long..

Yes the MK-23 is a large gun... but it shoots like a Bentley Turbo R.

I owns a Kimber Compact SS and an H&K USP Compact in 40 S&W. They are both great... but if I had to have only 1 gun to stake my life on it would be tha H&K. Totally reliable and accurate. almost indestructable. Or so say SEAL team 1 members. That's what they would like.

H&K Mk23

Springfield 1911-a1 longslide V-16 stainless

Both will shoot .45 Super with no alterations...
