HK survey

I have the USP45F with night sights, match trigger and a recently purchased UTLII. It has around 8000 - 9000 rounds through it with only a few malfunctions. Last 2 weeks I have had 1 FTF each week due to my reload not firing with the first hammer strike. I think I just may have gotten a bad batch of 'hard primers'. Also have the MK23 which is a gas to shoot.

I loved my H&K USP .45 compact but hated the trigger.I grew up on Sig's and carried a P226 exclusively.A friend offered to trade me even up for a like new P-220(less than 500rds)and I jumped on it.The H&K USP was extremely reliable and I didn't have any problems with lots of different ammo including UMC 230gr hardballs. It ate everything I fed it with no problems.

I too have owned H&k pistol, [usp variant #1 in 45acp] and have nothing but good things to say about it. I sold it, using the money to by another fine combat pistol = Glock [model 20 in 10mm]. Both these weapons have one thing in common = reliability!!

My next purchase [handgun] is going to be another H&K product, a compact usp [variant #1] in 357sig. There pretty hard to find, hoping to find one at the Tulsa gun show.

It's really to bad H&K does not chamber one of there full sized models in 10mm, what a fine weapon that would be!!!

USP45f w/match trigger and converted to Variant 3
3000rnds
Two failures to fire hand loaded reloads with improperly seated primers.

No failures to feed.

Outfitted with a UTL which has seen 100 230gr +P+'s while it was on the weapon. No problems.

Defense ammo = 230gr Golden Saber or 230gr Corbon +P

Practice ammo = 230gr handloads at 690fps+ (+P+)

Problems:
broken firing pin after 150 dry-fires (replaced free)
gritty DA trigger (honed and polished trigger components for free... Didnt help)

Holster:
Hunter 5300 "two-slot" holster with one single-magazine holder and one "double" magazine holder.

Final anaysis... Id buy it again.
