HK P7M8......Worth the Price?

Some people spend big money on hookers, and some don't; they both get screwed. :)

It failed the M9 trials. NJ troopers shot themselves with it all the time... :)

Do you want it? Can you afford it? If it's worth it to you, who cares what it's worth to anybody else?

If memory serves me correctly the P7 failed the M9 trials saltwater reliability test. I will concede that a P7 whose gas piston is allowed to rust in the gas chamber WILL seize the slide. Whether this weakness will disuade you from the weapon is a choice you will need to make on your own. Let me say that I own a 92FS and it is NOT the first pistol I would reach for, M9 trials or not.

As far as BrokenArrows other point, I am not sure that it is more telling of the P7M8 or people from New Jersey :)
