HK .45 MARK23 SOCOM

Pete80...damn straight!

None were what I would consider huge, but all were very VERY fit.

Don't get the wrong idea, though...they were very good shots, but a fair IPSC shooter is faster and slightly more accurate. However, I would take any of them over Enos and Co. to come rescue me in a hostage situation, should my highly secure (yeah, right) base be overrun with Tangos. Nice guys, too.

Back on topic, though, the MK23 is far too big to only hold 13 rounds, IMNSHO.

Maybe they had the SEALs in mind when they designed the gun. If they lost an oar while rowing ashore in their rubber rafts, they could use the SOCOM in its place. That sucker is huge.

Am I the only person here who thinks this pistol is ugly as sin? Despite the trendiness of the Desert Eagle, I would MUCH rather have one of them in .44 rather than a SOCOM. Hell, for the price of it I could have two.

The Mark 23 does nothing for me (I had a Tactical, loved it- but If I can't have a suppressor, it only depressed me looking at the threaded barrel).

My dealer has had a Mark 23 for a "very" long time, I should ask if they would sell it to me cheap...say $900 :) Hey, its worth a shot- they don't even keep it in the showcase anymore, takes up too much room.
