There is nothing hypocritical in Hannity's stance vis the death penalty and abortion.
One is about killing a criminal, so adjudicated by a jury of his peers, guilty of a capital crime.
The other is about killing an innocent life in the womb.
Hannity's stance on both issues are fully consistent with his "devout Catholic faith;"* Kerry's stance on abortion is simply irreconcilable with his. As an obstinate and unrepentent sinner, he commits sacrilege each time he receives Holy Communion which, to any devout Catholic, is the True Presence of the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ.
Whew! No more discussion of 'ligion and 'bortion from me!
*The Vatican, in the persons of John Paul II and Benedict XVI, has condemned strongly the use of the death penalty under modern circumstances; however, unlike abortion, judicially-sanctioned execution of criminals is not ruled out as a matter of Faith and Morals.
