High Cap .380

Beretta 84 is arguably the best fighting 380 made.
Mine is an 84F, and is a dream to shoot and carry...and it also came from CDIsales.
As for the CZ83, my experience is with the CZ82 in 9mm Mak. It is a very good pistol, and a great shooter. But I much prefer the Beretta.

Thanks again, I didn't expect so many responses. In reference to an earlier post I'm sticking with .380 because of my LCP and honestly I'm not much of a pistol shooter. I'll take the Ruger and shoot a magazine every few months or so just to make sure both the gun and myself are still functioning properly. Other than that it stays where I need it to until I really need it. So the higher cost of ammo is not really a concern. Same goes for this one, for the most part it will sit around waiting for the day I really need it.

Anyways I was pretty excited about that Beretta until I saw the price, I can't justify spending that much for a gun to just lounge around. So I believe I have narrowed it down to the Chiappa and the Sig. the Sig has a two rd capacity advantage, but other that that I was hoping to hear your opinions. I appreciate all the help.

For me, these are mostly range guns and I prefer something that's not DAO for that. I have one because I started reloading .380 for a couple of pocket pistols and wanted something a bit more pleasant to shoot at the range. Turns out the .380 can be crazy accurate, and is cheap to reload.

I haven't actually seen one of the Chiappas to pass judgment on them, but like you I went looking for another similar gun and found it. It's not like my Taurus is the greatest gun in the world but I'm fine with it and it shoots really well. The EAA Pavona is probably a good option also. As long as it's not purple.

Beretta 84 for $300? Done deal. Cant check out GB at work but I will when i get home.
I was going to put a new one on layAWay but it was $700 so was not in a hurry.

I have purchased two pistols from Coles (CDI Sales), and have been thoroughly pleased with both. Their guns are honestly described, and you have lots of photos to study so you can pick the best of the lot. I found that lightening the photos with the "Paint" feature on your PC allows you to see a lot more detail.

I have been extremely pleased with CDI Sales. You can't go wrong with getting a Beretta 84 or CZ83 from them. Heck, you could get one of each for $500-$600!

I got my Beretta 84F and love it. I also got mine from CDI sales on Gunbroker and it is one of the best 380's I have ever shot and it gets plenty of carry time. I love it so much I got another for my wife, and we have been very happy with them. I had a Taurus PT58 many years ago but could not find any mags for it so I had sold it and in the end replaced it with the Beretta, mags are easy to get right now for the Beretta.

well I got snipped on my 1st choice. Got out bid while at work and it ended.
They block GB so I missed out on that one.
Found another one in just about as good of shape. Chose the buy it now this time so it is mine.
Here I snagged a couple images off the ad.

Not too shabby for less than $300. Thanks for the heads up.

Now I just have to dig up the money for yet another unplanned gun purchase.

After lots of saving I'm planning on paying off all 3 of my credit cards from school and being debt-free next month.

Seems like a Beretta Cheetah might be a suitable reward for that the month after. :D
