Hey BigJim... We're creating a monster...

Sore shoulder and wrist from operating a loader....after only 5 boxes ..."come on man ..." ...:D :D

http://www.mecreloaders.com/ProductLine/9000.asp

...note the "no handle" line of loaders from MEC in the 9000-HN machines ...( its operated by an elec motor and a hydraulic pump ) ..and a foot pedal ...and loading 5 boxes takes about 15 min ( even my 20 yr old grandson can do it ....when he's got 90 other things on his young mind) ...and I didn't make him do it / he voluntered...

now that you've finally invested in a solid new gun ....ask santa for a decent loader there buddy ... ( sore shoulder and wrist .../ that's a little wimpy there man .... and remember to put sun screen on, so you don't sunburn your toes between your flip flops when you're out shooting) ...not sensitive .../ I can be sensitive ...well maybe not ...but I will promise to try ...maybe ...

I will ask santa for the old reloader if you ask santa for a handy dandy world-wide electrified hydro powered unit...

Hey BigJim. You have to appreciate the risks of sun burn we put up with in South Cali. Today was slighly overcast for once and I risked shooting hatless. To make it worse we have to put up with all those young women in short shorts.

As for the loader, a new extended handle is going on my Xmas list. I think they run around $20 and I try to ask for things the kids can afford.
As for anything expensive, the gun is a combination Xmas and B-Day gift to me.

All of my Mecs have had the big wood handle for so long, I'd forgotten they weren't standard. Yes, the extended handles are great and a lot less than Big Jim's hydro units.

Why is it that some kind of apparatus for the cure of erectile dysfynction comes to mind when sensitive big guys talk about their advanced laser controlled electro/hydraulic reloading systems with pneumatic auto functions. Warp speed, Scotty!

Hey now ......the old guy ....with the biggest gun collection / and the coolest shop ( with all the toys ...) ....is the coolest grandpa on the block ..!!

Its good to have dreams klawman ....good to have dreams...

K-Law, the first 4-gun hydro Mec set up I ever saw belonged to All-American/Hall-of-Fame Skeet shooter Grey Silva. He was a diminutive man and almost 80 years old at the time -- not quite out of the Big Jim mould. ;)

Grey was one of Skeet's true gentlemen and I consider myself fortunate to have known him. He was at the club shooting every day. One of the members fondly commented, "When does he find time to reload?" Perhaps Grey's hydro system made his high volume shooting possible.

I am just funning BigJim. If I start shooting much more I am going to wish I went with a Grabber lilke he suggested. For now, I want a handle like on the beer tap behind a nice bar.

I know you were Klawman ....

I'm just happy to be the "coolest grandpa around" for awhile ...at least when it comes to guns, reloading, and woodworking .../ of course with my wife feeding them and letting them do their laundry here ...she's probably cooler than I am ...but a guy can dream....

Hey BigJim. When you are in college getting Mom or GM to do the laundry is the best, but who says you can't do it? You might like prancing around in a laundry apron (that mean over your regular clothes; not by itself (disregarding boundaries of decency, those bleach stains can really hurt).

reminds me to send weatherby a note ...to smack you when you're not looking .../ just for general reasons...! ---- to get you back in focus !

:D

I think the more wise thing to do would be to have KlawMan smack me when I blow a straight by missing an easy target...
