Here they come.....(CA)

While you are putting that pipe in the ground you might as well let them rest in the vertical orientation. A somewhat smaller magnetic signature will be displayed. All of my toys were stolen from me years ago.

Madison, save your bucks and get the hell out of that state! Its better out here in Utah. Or Oregon. Or Nevada. Move to Montana and raise rabbits or something!

Blech, California, icky!

Dead says, “God I wish there was a time machine to bring the Founding
Fathers to this time, and let them see what has happened to America. I think
they would commit suicide, on the spot.”
-----

All,

Look what our Founding Fathers and the Americans of the 1700s gave up and
then suffered through to give us this great republic. I don’t think they would
commit suicide. They were men who would fight in the courts or in the fields
for freedom.

The vast majority of our current population would consider our Founding
Fathers a danger and a threat - people to be persecuted and prosecuted.

The parasites would see their welfare check threatened. The intelligentsia
would dream up a million pseudo-intellectual arguments - the most violent of
which would scream “compromise”. Anyone advocating freedom would be
called ignorant, stupid, unrealistic and violent.

The minority would hide themselves from the Founding Fathers - out of
shame or cowardice. In America today, the Founding Fathers would stand
much more alone than they did in the 1700s.

Only a few, a splendid few, would go to the Founding Fathers and apologize for
the mess we made of their dream of Freedom and Liberty.

Only a few, a splendid few, would again say, “I am here!”

Dennis,

Thank you. I would have to agree with what you say. Would be rather interesting if that could, in reality, be done!

Wish I could move back to my home state of Alabama, but certain conditions prevent that right now.

I figure in CA, they will start controling how many flushes I get. :-)

Whassa matter...authorities still huntin ya hehe?

What part of Bammy you from?

I'm here. You should come back, but wait til fall. Right now it's hotter than a...well, you know.

Dixon,

There on my tail....

Fall is great. Was back home in Huntsville in June. First summer visit in 5 yrs. Most visits during X-mas. My first words were "I use be use to this !" At least out here it is dry heat. (but so is an oven, but I don't stick my head in it - as a friend told me!) A/C goes off at night since it can be 105 at noon, but 65 at night. Something they call the 'Delta Breeze'.

What part Bama ?

You need to count your blessings. The Demo's in Bama are finer folks than the breed out here. Jack Page & Blaine Galleher (sp) State House Reps from Gadsden area sponsored and passed HB 105. Cities can't sue and got rid of AL waiting period. Blaine was attacked in '94 as anti-gunner. He was HIGHLY upset over that attack. Guess he put a stop to that - for now.

Demo's here pretty much equal socialist. In addition to confiscating firearms they mandate hot water regulator for tubs, toliet capacities etc...So we smuggle non regulated plumbing from Nevada (in addition to some of our firearm supplies) and we flush twice to get the job done- Gheez

Fall in Bama. That is one nice time there. You Bama or Auburn? (you know that has to be asked) Got me some tickets to Bama v UCLA.

Later from the socialist coast...........

Don’t forget to “salt” the ground, in the general vicinity of buried items, with metal shavings to throw off metal detectors. Very important.

My father worked for the Army. I graduated Wiesbaden, Germany. Class of '86. My parents lived overseas from '80 to '98. They just moved back to Huntsville - Owen Cross Roads. When we lived in Huntsville, we lived one road off of Drake near Parkway City Mall. ALL my family lives in Huntsville and it has always been home. Seems I can always find my way around no matter how long I'm away.

Anyway, went to UA for a short while then finished up at JSU. A damn woman brought me out here ! :-) The gov is Demo, the House is Demo, and the Senate is Demo - you probably can't imagine the damage they are doing. I would feel better if the Fed govt was all GOP.

Hope it cools down some for you. You a deer hunter?

I'm from Huntsville too. Grew up there, though now I live further south. Went to Huntsville High School, Class of '85.

Where'd you go?

Yep. Gun and bow. Turkey, rabbit, squirrel, and the occasional dove too.

We used to live over there off California Street in the Blossomwood area north of Governor's Drive. Went to Samford and UAB. Married a transplanted Cajun and moved way out in the country. She's tried to talk me into moving to South Louisiana but so far I've held my ground!

Got a good friend lives in OwensXroads now. That areas grown up big.

ROLL TIDE ROLL!!

Franklin,
Sorry didn't get back to you - work and then kids/wife tied me up.

I like squirrel so I can walk around. Wanted to try Turkey, never got around to it. Rabbit as well. Deer? I just don't want to get up that early. :-)

South Cajun land? They don't even speak english do they??? ;-)

As for OwenXRoads. Yep. getting bigger and bigger. They just finished road over mountain connecting 431 on OwenXRoad side to Baily Cove. Runs right by my folks house. Few more years and it won't be an 'out-of-the-way' place anymore.

madison

ps. ROLL DAMN TIDE!

pss. For your squirrel, what firearm to you like? For Rabbit. For my squirrel, got 10/22 or Nylon 66. Nylon 66 is my best.
