Here is the Glock 40! Complete with milled slide!

Since Springfield will obviously never modify the XD/XDM 45 to 10mm, I may just dip one foot into the Block pool yet again, for the M40.

Wow lookin good lookin good! MUY BIEN GRACIAS!!!

Looks like a good gun for bear defense... I don't mean defending of bears, but more like defense against an aggressive bear.

Hmm, not my cup of tea right now but definitely a front runner if I want to get into the pistol-mounted optics game.

But the real issue is we're gonna have a real issue with an actual Glock 40 and the street slang Glock four-tay. How are we ever going to know what anyone is talking about! :D

Seems like speculation to me, not sure why Glock would introduce an optics ready G40 with a run of optics milled models that already exist when there's no standard model offered. Maybe the G40 will happen, but until it's official, it could be anything. I'm not a 10mm fan but introducing a new 10mm seems strange just because while it does have a small cult like following, it's not popular with the masses. On the other hand, Glock has nearly single handedly kept the cartridge alive with its 20 and 29 so for them to introduce another 10mm is possible, I just wouldn't think it would sell big overall.

I don't know this for a fact or anything, but I have to think that Glock is able to produce a product variant at relatively little cost. They seem to be at the point now where they could offer just about any caliber in just about any configuration without having to do much of anything. Now if they could just build them so the dust covers didn't look all warped and flimsy, etc.

I don't have any real 'use' for this model, but I sure would like to own one--I really don't have any use for the G20 either, but that didn't stop me.

Much like the Sig P220 in 10mm, I'll believe it when I see it in stock at an online dealer. Could be I'm looking at a Photoshop model for all I know.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

It IS official...

- There are product SKU's for the MOS platform of the 34, 35, 40, and 41.
- There are pictures of the gun in my first post.
- The guns are listen on the 2015 Glock Stocking Dealers product list.

What are you waiting on for it to be "official" to you? A big to-do about it at SHOT Show? I'm sure your needs will be satisfied in a couple of weeks.

Glocks are just a bandwagon. Like iphones. Their grips are fat and they are ugky , and they are made of plastic, and their triggers suck, and their sights suck, and they are ugly, and wide

Hehehe

I don't like glocks. Although I can shoot the model 17 and 42 VERY well.

I did have to laugh at the ads posted in the OP- "Optics not included". Oh, you mean that I don't get a $550 Trijicon RMR for free?? I'm suing! haha:D

How excited are you?

As the owner of a G20 that I admittedly don’t shoot enough I’m not overly excited. However, as someone that likes to see manufacturers innovate and come out with cool new products I’m moderately stoked.

Oddly enough, I think I may actually be more excited about the G34 MOS. I've always wanted to try out a red dot pistol. I've kind of always wanted to pick up a G34... but I was never so interested that I would pay to have the Glock slide milled out for a sight. The option to buy one ready to go is nice. I would have done that with an M&P CORE already if S&W hadn't screwed up the sight options by making the CORE model have their own specific sights. No night sight available.

Already have a bunch of G17 mags anyways so I wouldn't need to do much with it.
