Was gifted a new Henry .22lr lever recently, and a hoot to shoot, but I don't shoot it well with the basic irons. And I'm nearly to the point where a peep is not much better.
Leupold makes a very nice 4x28mm compact rimfire scope which would seem ideal and is likely in the future for my Henry.
I used to boldly proclaim,, in print no less, "no scopes on lever carbines". About five years is all it took for that to change as I passed 50 yrs.
I still don't like white line spacers.
