Help talk me into or out of a Marlin 30-30

I picked up a JM stamped 336 in .30-30 for $325 out the door probably 8 months ago. It had an issue with rounds sticking in the chamber when it got hot but I was able to fix that.

Say ripnbst you don't leave that nice rifle propped up by the front door all the time do you?:D $325, You got a deal.

OP the only time I would try to talk you out of 30-30 would be if you and I spotted one at the same time and I wanted it too. But I would say go for it myself. An underrated round and rifle by a lot of folks.

I say if you had one and you miss it, get another one and don't be afraid to customize it.

I bought my first rifle, a Marlin Glenfield 30-30, when I was fifteen. It's the one I'll never sell.

rip, what boltie is that? The mag/trigger guard looks mighty familiar, but I just can't put my thumb on it.

It's a modified Remington 700. Pacific Tool & Gauge detachable bottom metal (which is the mag and trigger housing) running an Accuracy International AICS single stack 5 round .308 magazine (.260 REM rifle). Running a Timney 510 flat face trigger.
