Help!! My Savage 10FP Won't Shoot!!

3/4 MOA; no good?

Guys, I have to assume this whole thread is a joke, I've done my share of rifle shooting, and if I can get my Rifle out of the trunk and fire one round hitting a 2" target first time every time, day or night, in any weather, from 50 to 150 yards; " I done Good". By the way I shoot a Savage to.

Five-shot groups?

Ya know, there is a reason that title fights are no longer 15 rounders. Lots of baaaaad things can happen after that 3rd shot. The laws of probability creep up on ya.

Ain't got the time, patience, or courage, for 5-shot groups

I get 1.5 to 2.5 MOA from milsurp.

That's about what I was getting with Sellier & Bellot "green box" milsurp, 82 headstamps. Out of 5 3-shot groups, the smallest group was .80" and largest group was 2.60". First shot of each group was a fouling shot as I was cleaning between groups. I put a total of 40 rounds through it and the first 25 were break-in/scope zero shots.

I should probably start a new thread with this, but where can I find a good deal on .308 match ammo? Eric the Ammoman has Federal match for $18/box and you can mix and match. I'd like to try different bullet weights to see what my rifle likes before I invest in a whole case. I'm not set up for reloading .308 yet. Any better deals out there?

Walter, you want 5-shot groups? No problemo, pal. :D
