Help me find this rifle?

I bet it is a VZ-58 SPORTER from CZECH-POINT.
My computer is not allowing me to send a picture for some reason. But if you go to czechpoint.com and look at the skeleton stocked sporter in 7.62x39 and the sporter in 5.56x45 NATO it may be what you are looking for.

That thing is sounding a whole lot like one of the Wilkinson Carbines, either a Terry or a Linda (guy named the things after his daughters). They were not long lived and not real common.

Never have seen the genuine articls myself, only pics from gun books from the 70's.

Somebody post a photo of a Wilkinson.
