The Dan Wesson Pointman 7 is not a bad choice either. I can leave one ragged hole with this gun at 25yds. I can also do it with the CBOB as well. Yes you can find them for under $1300, right now.
I also like the Springfield XD add laser sights and its a shooter. With this gun you have a good carry gun that can hold at least 13 rounds at a min. I think the newer models hold another round.
