Help me conceal this monster...

Galco SIL 126 if you're looking for lower cost option. Black, tan, havana brown. Open bottom belt slide, 1 3/4 slots.

The good news is the large selection of good holsters available today. I have a Sparks VM-II that works pretty well with my 3" 629. IWB seems to support and conceal better.

"Man, I must be some kind of wimp. I think an alloy frame .380 is a bitch to carry all day."

Horizontal shoulder holster with wide straps on a figure 8 harness.

I have carried a P7M13 or a 4" Model 19 for 12-14 hours at a time with no discomfort.

The wide straps make all the difference in the world.

Pardon my ignorance, but who makes the PWL holster?

And another thing...do the snaps on the Alessi hideout have any chance of scratching the revolver on its way out of the leather?

Chip - IIRC, the Hideout is available with a thumbreak (per Rogers' pics) or a "pull-through" snap, or open. I opted for the open top, and depend on Lous' molding and belt pressure (considerable...no comment, please :D) for retention. The metal which would contact the gun on a draw is rounded on both parts, so the chances of scratches are minimal, but the snap retentions aren't necessary, IMO, unless they are mandated by some outside requirement.

But Mike, no jacket worn in office. Then again, no guns allowed, either, so moot point, really.

Riddle- It's not the size of the gun but how fast you shoot it. Wait, that didn't come out right...

How about a nice sweater vest? Button up or plain front? It is getting a bit nippy, now... Size XXL for maximum comfort? Just watch the clunk of the grips on the office chair as you settle back for some heavy duty computering.

I have carried N frame Smiths for years. The best leather I have found is the Tension Saddle by Sam Andrews. This OWB holster works great with 4 inch barrels. For my 6 inch barrel Smiths, I like Andrews Modified IPSC Saddle model. The front cut out allows the longer barrel to slide out without haveing to be lifted up to your armpit. :)

I am 6'2, 230, and have no trouble at all hiding these large Smith's as well as single action Rugers under a vest or shirt worn out over a tee shirt.
