I have a fine rotary wire brush on a cheap 6" grinder, and have used it for years and get a clean, quick job and there is no apparent damage and my 2 .357's shoot 4" groups at 50 yards which ain't bad for 70 year old eyes. I did get tired of the 686 staining so bad and gave it to the 13 year old son of a Kentucky hunting buddy. Talk about lighting up the face of a kid, that done it!
