HD shotgun placement

brick=500 22 shells
flat=250 shotgun shells
case=2 flats of shotgun shells
ok, my guestion is whats the name of a 100 box from walley world?

ooload, i am glad my wife did not see your post. i almost lost that automatic buy of 1000 rounds with every new shotgun.

for the original question I keep an out of sight pistol not far from each entrance to our modest little house.

I have come to call a hundred round wally world box of 100 a "brick"... Alot more like a brick than a 550 count loose pack .22 box

Step inside your closet.

Turn around.

Look up.
This.

The closet in my bedroom has sliding doors, with about 8" of wall coming down from the ceiling above the door. it's only 18" deep, so I mounted my shotgun above the door inside the closet. unless you're inside the closet looking out and up, you can't see it, and being a shallow closet with nothing else in it, there's no reason to be in it. It's about 5 feet from my bed, and my 357 is in the nightstand in case I can't get to the shotgun, e.g. bad guy already in the room. And being pretty well hidden from view, I don't worry about it being stolen.
