Today's mail included my invitation to dinner in New York with Rosie. It cost HCI all of fiftyfive cents to mail it. Unfortunately, because some stupid clerk neglected to include my first class plane ticket, or arrange free limo service to and from the airport to a HCI paid room in five star hotel, I'm afraid I must decline this invitation.

While our members' disappointment that I will not be present to humilate her blimpness is readily anticipated, some consolation may be offered in that the penny stamp affixed on the return envelope may result in another thirtytwo cents from HCI's political activity fund.

I humbly seek forgiveness from our members for my failure to zealously protect the Second Amendment. Rich, may I have my penny back?

BTW, they're asking $500 a plate. At that rate, they'd better give me the china, silverware, tablecloth, napkins and candlestick holders.

I've received two invitations; one for my wife and one for me. There's $1.10 that won't being feeding that bloated, bleeting b*tch.

The fact that there are so few fatal defensive shootings demonstrates a laudable degree of self-restraint on the part of gun owners. If we started shooting criminals whenever we could _legally_ do so, would they be happier? Or would they call us bloodthirsty? There is just no winning with these people.

Yeah, I'd like to go. As a request I want to sit directly across from Rozee. After I get a gut full, I would then hurl across the table at her...

Sorry, couldn't help myself, she's just so damn repulsive..

Best Regards,
Don

The most foolish mistake we could make would be to allow the subjected people to carry arms; history shows that all conquerers who have allowed their subjected people to carry arms have prepared their own fall.

Actually, there's far more fatal defensive shootings than that. The FBI numbers come straight off the police blotter- many defensive shootings are intially labelled "homicide" by the police in the report, even if there is no intention to press charges.

I have read that the percentage of homicides that are justifiable is around 7-14%, and more than a thousand a year.

HCI also uses the gov numbers for self-defense incidents as well- about 80,000 yearly. What they don't say is that this is the lowest number in existance, and the NEXT HIGHEST number is 700,000 a year. There are 15 studies of DGU, with the numbers ranging from 700,000-2,500,000. Read Kleck's "Targeting Guns."
