HCI grades YOUR state and its gun laws

"Are we protecting our children?"

I'm trying to protect my kid from public schools and HCI and criminals. Oh, I forgot, I own guns......therefore, I am the criminal in HCI's view.
 
I assume they are talking about those poor 19 year old "children" that are too busy killing each other and innocent bystanders.

Maybe when we get "Shall issue" for the whole state we'll move 'up' to a "D-". It's doable. Michigan will be a safer place to live...

I'd rather have less restrictive laws and less crime than more gun laws and more crime...

Sigh......since when is a "D" flunking?

Headline: "HANDGUN CONTROL RELEASES 4TH ANNUAL REPORT CARD: 25 STATES FLUNK PROTECTING KIDS FROM GUNS"

Part of the first sentence of article: "...25 states received grades of "D" or "F" for the 1999-2000 school year..."

Overall: D+

The A is because carrying concealed is prohibited. Open carry is perfectly legal. I wonder if they know that all you get for carrying concealed is a $25 ticket with no jail time. HAHAHAHAHAHA

My state of AZ got a D-, but unfortunatly I am stationed in Hawaii which recieved an A-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate this state...who would ever want to come here? It boggles my mind to see so many tourists here.
 
What the heck is an F-? Back when I was in school (granted, it was a long time ago) "F" stood for "Failed" and an "F" was an "F," period. So would an F+ mean "Failed, but just" and an F- be "Failed, miserably?"

Talk about junk science... A state gets an "A" for PROBHIBITING CCW, but either a "C" or "F-" for some form of CCW (the latter being "shall issue" type), when the Lott study proves unequivocally that CCW laws save lives by preventing crime. So what may I ask, HCI, is your scientific basis for this rating? What a joke. "I've got an idea - Let's legislate by what we FEEL will help, even if it's diametrically opposed to what science and undisputed statistics PROVE. That will save the children."
