Have you purchased any additional weapons in the last month above and beyond what you typically would?

The last firearm I purchased was a S&W model 65 with a 3" barrel, and that was early last summer. I don't see much that interests me anymore and when I do they are asking stupid money for them (Kel-Tec KSG, PMR-30, etc.). I passed on a HK P7 PSP yesterday. He was asking $695, which I didn't think was out of line, it's just the fact that Top Gun had them for $499 last year and I didn't get one then either, so I let it pass.

Yes. Last month I ordered a Sako Varmiter in with a fluted SS barrel and laminate stock in 308. It's birthday is supposedly the end of may. I also ordered a Cooper 30 06 Western Classic. It was a good year, I'm late 50's and have never owned a real hunting rifle. I figured it was time. Also bought an LC9 Ruger for Christmas. Now looking at an SP 101 in 22. I'm trying to catch up with the rest of you!:)

I haven't bought a hand gun in about five years. Let's just say my last purchase, a Ruger LCP, didn't go over too well and is now referred to as the "Colt Incident" here at home. I'm really not sure how or why she thinks I bought a Colt, but I'm not going to bother to straighten her out......

Anyway, I just bought a Walther PPS. It was a good price but neither the price or my tax refund was a factor. All I can say is that it was time and I had an itch that needed to be scratched.

New gun purchase

Just picked up the newerish ruger sr1911 gun shoots awesome my first 1911 hopin to pick up another 1911 in 9mm soon.

I haven't bought any guns (or other weapons) in quite a while, and tax season has nothing to do with it. I'm just pretty well fixed, and have been for quite a few years.

I purchased several in trying to rebuild my collection after a couple of thefts (over the last 10 years or so) and some natural attrition.

1. Browning BAR Safari w/ BOSS in 7MM WSM
2. MK-III Hunter SS 6-7/8" Heavy Fluted 22LR
3. Glock 19C 9mm Compensated
4. Glock G30SF 45 ACP

:D

In the last year I have purchsed a P229, CZ75B and now (2 weeks ago) a S&W 1911PD. I plan on buying a SIG-556 next month too boot.

If I need a weapon I can pick up a rock from the backyard.
Firearms/guns and the word "weapon" are not synonomys.
I dislike the inference the word "weapon" gives that guns are only used to attack people.

In the last month a Model 37 S&W 38 and just put money down on a Colt Lawman MKIII So that makes about five for the year so far.

I haven't bought any weapons since I spent $2500 on a 40-year-old Swiss Army Pistol/P210 last fall.

I could have had two more shooter-grade Pythons. :) Like I need another one.

My last firearm purchase was about five months ago. The tax bill is paid, but my daughter is getting married in just over a week. Hemorrhaging cash. Thinking that I might buy a couple of kayaks for my wife and I before I buy another gun, too.

It's suck's to be broke.:mad::mad::mad:

Brag on..... it makes me feel better.

This is good though, next time, I'll think before I buy. Need's, or want's?

Last purchase, a 44mag I didn't need!:D

I'm about done with my collection. I have 22 firearms & I've began to actually give some of them away to my son now. He'll get all of them when I'm dead.

TailGator, congradulations. My daughter is getting married in August to a serviceman and will be moving to Germany soon thereafter. I think everyone in the family has served in Germany, although my later father-in-law proudly described it as contributing to the urban renewal of Germany.
