Have you had a revolver refinished by Smith and Wesson?

Just got my 686 no back from smith and wesson, I had an unfluted cylender and ramped front sight installed as well as a trigger job and refinish. My 686 came back all scratch up and the cylender is really wobbly. There in the middle of there 2 week shutdown so now I can't even shoot it till a Manager comes back and can talk talk to me. Needles to say I'm really upset. I bought the gun for $500 and spent almost $700 trying to make the revolver I've always wanted. Really sucks
 
I had S&W refinish a cylinder that had rust spots on it. You would never know any work was done. It looks perfect and matches the rest of the gun exactly.

Bear in mind if there is any pitting it's over. Rebluing cannot fix pitting.

I agree that refinishing is not a financial winner. But it's your gun and your choice.

PS: You must be a Razorback fan. I also live in Central Arkansas.
