Has anyone used this S&B ammo

I've used a bunch of it in both 9x19 and .45 ACP, and quite a bit of .32 ACP ball. Never had any issues with any of it. Once upon a time, it was cheaper to buy their generic ball than it was to reload, so I used it for about all of my practice, plinking and training. Good thing I salvaged the cases, which by the way are of very good quality and hold up nicely to repeated reuse.

I've used their rifle ammo. It's fine but the cases care not very good and never hold up well to reloading- but that's .303 rifle cartridges.

One caution on S&B ammo is that they tend to use very hard primers. This isn't a problem with most factory guns, so your Glock/XD/Tactiblaster-2000 will probably be fine with them. However, if you're using a 625 or other .45 ACP revolver or if you've had work done on your gun to lighten the trigger pull then you might have issues with the primers being too hard. However, this really only applies to customized guns with lightweight firing pins and wheelguns.

I have shot a lot of S & B 45 acp's and I think it is pretty good stuff. however to say that it is loaded hotter than other hardball loads may come down to an individual gun thing. in every gun I have chronographed it in the S & B load has been 50 to 60 fps less than Federal hardball and about the same as Winchester and Remington hardball. the guns involved are a S & W 1911 , Kimber SST Compact and a HK USP compact. now I also believe that the difference ain't going to matter much. I still think Federal is the best but I could get along nicely with the S & B.

I use it in my Bryco 25ACP, and it feeds like a charm, Rem 25acp jams it, but it is hotter than any other 25acp I have used. I have not used any other size. Finding here where I live is kinda hard. But I love it.
