Yes I have:
An M44 Mosin Nagant. Loved the look and even the way it felt in my hands, like I was going to go skewer some Germans! (Which my family, being German, didn't care for too much) but I just can't hit the broad side of a barn with it! I sold it two years after buying (having shot
maybe a hundred rounds), made $100.
Also, I do not know the brand, but I once rented two guns at a local shooting range. One was a beat up old G17, and the other was (according to the guy at the desk) a one month old custom made 1911. Having never shot a 1911 before i paid the $30 to rent it. The gun felt ok in my hand, but just wasn't that accurate, i shot better groups with the Glock! :0
I have also usually been pretty bored with the .38 Specials I have shot. I liked then fine, but they just seem much cooler (like a Detective special or a S&W 10) than they usually are to shoot. Especially, I once shot .38 special out of a dad's friend's .357 Mag and I was just bored. I like shooting .22's, but it was just, boring.
Surprised to see so many HK's on the list.
I absolutely loved the USP .45 and HK45's that i have shot. The USP felt like an extension of my hand the first time I shot it. I would buy one if I could afford it. Personal preference I suppose. I do know a couple guys who said they felt like the gun didn't fit their hand well, so maybe I have weird shaped hands or something...?
