Happy Birthday to me from me

Whew, what a beast. Gonna need that pinky extension to control it.

Congrats on your B-Day! That G-29 is a handful to shoot, but it's an awesome defensive caliber once you get it on target. Glocks are reliable as the day is long I can certainly vouch for my G-17 and G-21.

As far as 10mm ammo is concerned, I hope you reload, factory 10mm ammo is scarce and pricey, although PPU factory 10mm FMJ range ammo isn't outrageously expensive and I see it at Cabela's all the time. Hornady Custom 180 grain 10mm JHP defensive ammo is good stuff but you might have to search for it or order it online in 10mm.

Happy Birthday! Many more! For my last birthday, number 78, I bought myself a WC Beretta 92G Brigadier 9mm. I'm not as strong as I once was; I'm finding .45ACP to be difficult to shoot after few rounds, so I'm avoiding buying higher powered handguns (and rifles).

In my mid-twenties, I had an uncle who was a practical joker. He insisted I shoot his new revolvers. First, a .357 magnum, not bad; I weighed about 150 pounds. Then, a .44 magnum, I thought it had broken my arm. Should have paid more attention to what he had handed me. I still have a couple of .357's; shoot a few rounds every month, not many.

rt, congrats on your 78th Birthday and nice pistol there.

Also I used to do heavy lifting so I was pretty strong. I find myself struggling with light weights lately that I only can say, getting old sucks.

Hopefully this is not a real stupid question but at the higher price of 10mm over 9mm, why go with 10mm?

Happy Birthday by the way.

Great gun...my next gun will be an H&K p2000sk but I hope to return back to the Glock hunt later this year or early next. Congrats and have a blast....:D
